  1. Create multiple good Pokemon, get multiple good genderless in return. It goes both ways. A level breeding field is not a necessity, and I'd argue that it's actually a bad thing. I've bred multiple genderless Pokemon myself, and while it's harder than making most other Pokemon, it's not so ridiculously hard that it needs a change. The exception to that is perhaps Hidden Power, which may be looked at. Not all Pokemon should be equally easy to breed, it's like saying that there should be no rare weapons in other games. They're harder to get, but far from impossible and well worth the effort. That aside, remnants of the old system should not be a reason to hold back balancing the new system. Some pre-update Pokemon are incredible and would be difficult to make now, but they're not an excuse to push for making the game easier when there would otherwise be no reason to do so.

I'm going to assume that you want this locked.
  3. It's no secret that genderless Pokemon are difficult to create. The player could make multiple of the Pokemon that the trader requests as it's going to be far easier than making the genderless Pokemon that he's offering, and they can then make the trade several times on their various alt accounts whereas players with a single account can only do that trade once. The only way around this is to make the Pokemon a gift, which I have a feeling that players won't like.
  4. This is extremely abusable by alts, and addressing a problem that I'm still convinced isn't really a problem. Not everything should be equally or similarly easy to create.
  5. This is pretty much the answer. If you feel that someone has been treated unfairly, feel free to send me a PM.
  6. I'm sorry to hear that this happened, but I'm afraid that staff do not moderate trades or get involved in trade disputes. Please ensure that you remain vigilant at all times when trading with other players to prevent yourself from becoming the victim of a scam.
  7. Roms cannot be provided on these forums, sorry. You will have to find one yourself.

    Interface Color?

    This is correct.
  9. It would be bizarre to have such a large Pokemon be such a small Moemon. I'm actually really fond of the draft~
  10. This thread has pretty much run its course.
  11. In a storyline run, you aren't encountering anywhere near 8000 Pokemon. Most level ups of your party members would typically come from NPCs, and most areas aren't visited more than once. It's different in an MMO where every encounter is essentially multiplied by the number of players, but in a single player game, you're not likely to find a shiny on a normal story run. The numbers given, while approximated, are logical.
  12. The thing is, we're not just talking about a single player here. We're talking about thousands playing simultaneously and a huge influx of shinies on a regular basis, which do not have a sink, I should add. Suddenly it jumps from 2 encounters per minute to, say, 2000 if we assume that 1000 players are encountering Pokemon. It takes 4 minutes for someone to find a shiny on average. 230+ shinies enter the game daily. That is over 85000 shinies in a year. You cannot possibly think that this is reasonable for an MMO. It's also entirely fair that new players can find a shiny. In the end, it's still RNG-based. Thank you, let's multiply everything by approximately 4. Mr Nolife is getting a shiny every day. He has nearly 6 whole boxes after a year. 900-1000 shinies are entering the game daily. 330000+ shinies are entering the game yearly. No shinies are ever being taken out of the game. Bans don't count. Basicaly, no, it is never going to be 1/8192.
  13. He deserves a few shinies, but definitely not 80-90 of them. That would be completely ludicrous. 1/8192 is an awful idea from a balancing standpoint.
  14. 1/8192 would be utterly disastrous for the game. Mr Nolife is a jobless shiny hunter. Assuming two encounters per minute and 16 hours of gameplay per day, you're looking at 1920 encounters, which is pretty much a shiny every 4 days assuming that he isn't particularly lucky or unlucky. Mr Nolife continues this routine for a year. He now has nearly a box and a half of OT shinies. Mr Nolife isn't the only player in the game, there are others like him as well as a large number of casual and non-shiny-hunting players. I'm not a developer so can't really comment on the rest.
  15. That's actually not true~ The RNG itself is identical. The number of hax items influencing it in the vanilla Tower and Frontier is slightly ridiculous though.
  16. As much as I like the old Ivysaur, apparently I should attempt a remake. It's nowhere near the first in terms of quality though, likely needs a lot of work. Intended to match the design of princess Venusaur somewhat.

    Shedinja luck

This is my best, but for entirely different reasons. I think it's ?/1/0/0/4/7, but could be wrong about the special defense. I hope its HP IV is under 5 too, it would be so disappointing it it's revealed to be decent next update. Naughty nature.
  18. A banded Machamp with a status ailment OHKOs pretty much the entire tier, and anything that it can't OHKO (literally only fully defensive Hypno/Donphan) can't even hope to stop it. Once a statused Machamp gets in on something that can't threaten it, it is going to kill something, or at the very least do a lot of damage if the user mispredicts. It's a little less scary when it isn't poisoned, but still extremely punishing. Moveset: Superpower/Thunderpunch/Ice Punch/Thief. Probably not the best set though. 252+ Atk Choice Band Guts Machamp Superpower vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Lanturn: 252-297 (108.6 - 128%) -- guaranteed OHKO 252+ Atk Choice Band Guts Machamp Superpower vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Scizor: 182-216 (102.8 - 122%) -- guaranteed OHKO 252+ Atk Choice Band Guts Machamp Superpower vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Quagsire: 204-240 (100.9 - 118.8%) -- guaranteed OHKO 252+ Atk Choice Band Guts Machamp Superpower vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Blastoise: 183-216 (98.3 - 116.1%) -- 87.5% chance to OHKO 252+ Atk Choice Band Guts Machamp Ice Punch vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Claydol: 148-176 (88.6 - 105.3%) -- 31.3% chance to OHKO 252+ Atk Choice Band Guts Machamp ThunderPunch vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Slowking: 176-208 (87.1 - 102.9%) -- 18.8% chance to OHKO 252+ Atk Choice Band Guts Machamp Thief vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Hypno: 152-180 (79.1 - 93.7%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery 252+ Atk Choice Band Guts Machamp Superpower vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Donphan: 160-190 (81.2 - 96.4%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Leftovers recovery Everything else is obviously OHKOd. I don't exactly have much experience with the tier, but on paper Machamp seems too strong for it.
  19. The quality went down a bit with this edit, particularly on the hair. The previous expressions seemed more fitting too.
