    Still, in math/on paper a pokemon can look good, but on the field itself, it might turn out to be a disaster.

     

    We will only know once NU becomes an official competetive tier.

    Good point... I'll allow ch'ding in the first Nu tourny and just trust people to abide by the hax item clause.

    Stick boosts critical hit ratio by 1, basically, same as using focus energy.

    Which makes slash stupidly OP in this, just one swords dance and there goes the match. So unless there in an official judge present Ch'ding will have to be banned to ensure no one tries to sneak a stick in. Hax item's are hax items. Though in everything else Ch'ding is a joke (no offence to Mal and his mighty Ch'ding) in a Nu tier he is a power house for sure.

    Wait what, seriously? Even with stick that thing sucks.

    Tell that to Malorne and his Ch'ding. Even with out stick, with the right set up it can be a deadly deadly ducky.

    Taking a second look at how much stick would boost attack, I'm gonna open Farfetche'd  back up for debate. I stil lthink it would be too op.

    I mean Mawile for swoard dance/iron defence -BP and ledian for light screen/ reflect/ agility -BP, would take just 3-6 turns to set up ch'ding enough to be unstoppable.

    I'm not making a list of pokemon that are never used, I am making a new meta game, the Nu Teir. It's a bit more then just listing pokes no one uses. There needs to be a balance for it to work.So far I have only done basic research so I can create the list, I'll be doing more work on this today and refining the list again before the final draft. (Any one who would like to help with this is encuraged to do so. I am not the best with math)
     
    Pokemon under the occasionally seen in UU list is up for debate.
     
     
     
    Farfetche'd is banned due to it's stick, sense this is the first (and hopefully not last) Nu tourny, it's going to be hosted by me. So, unless I can some how get an official judge there, we wont be able to ensure no one is using the stick. (Sorry Mal :c)
     
    Ledian will most likely be added, though I am seeing a problem with it being to OP. I am trying to avoid seeing every one use the same pokemon I feel if it was allowed it would be run as much as a snorlax. It's ability to sponge hits and set up might make Ledian a bit too much for the other pokemon in the tier to deal with.
     
    Kingler, Vigoroth and Dewgong will most likely be added, so far they are looking to be fairly balanced with the rest of these weaklings. I need to do some more calculations. Reversal may have to be banned, so far it looks unlikely it will be though as there are a couple good counters to it, still up in the air however cause it will sweep about 1/4th of the pokemon on the list with no trouble. 
     
    Mantine is very occasionally seen in Uu and fits into the Nu game. Leaning toward banning.
     
    Breloom is still debatable. I have only seen one person brave enough to run this in 50's in OU, a few times in Uu. Though it does not Perform well. It might end up in the pile with pokemon like Jynx, it may be allowed. I have barely started looking into Breloom yet.
     
    Misdreavus is rarely seen in Uu, but when we do see one it tends to put up a pretty good fight. How ever this will likely be disallowed due to a lack of ghost type counters (Same for Haunter).
     
    Agree with you on Cacturn. I don't think I even need to start comparing this one. Banned
     
    dewgong might get the pass, though it would be immensely powerful here, there are a good few counters too it in the approved list. 
     
    Which pokes from the debated sections make it in depend on how well they mesh.

    I should finish up by late tonight or tomorrow afternoon. I will be posting a Nu tourny thread tomorrow with the date time ect. It wont be happening for another 6-10 weeks to allow people who wish to join us in this glorious new tier plenty of time to train.
