Well, in my opinion the encounter rate is either going up for duplicate entries for both games, or they are all being lowered to accommodate for the additional 20%(Nidoran f in this case). Either way, those aren't accurate. I'd like to ask a dev how they did it, the numbers would be nifty to know if we want to add them in this project.

I can give an example of a route's encounter % rates per-poke but since the game uses both fire red and leaf green(among others in the future) pokemon, the actual encounter % will most likely differ, example:--------------------------------------------- Safari Zone --- Zone #2: --------------------------------------------- Nidoran M: Lv 30 (20%) [FR] Nidorino: Lv 30 (10%) [FR] Nidorina: Lv 30 (5%) [FR] Nidoran F: Lv 30 (20%) [LG] Nidorina: Lv 30 (10%) [LG] Nidorino: Lv 30 (5%) [LG] Rhyhorn: Lv 26 (20%) Paras: Lv 23 (15%) Exeggcute: Lv 25 (10%) Lv 27 (10%) Venomoth: Lv 32 (5%) Chansey: Lv 26 (4%) Tauros: Lv 28 (1%) ========= Now notice that, by including pokemon leaf green in this, the total percentage exceeds 100%. I haven't thought on it too much, but finding an approximation for the actual encounter rates for PokeMMO might be a little bothersome :P

Ah, I hadn't checked the forum in a few hours, was hunting for a shiny vulpix*still no luck ;~;* My idea for these videos that i've discussed with Darkshade was to, for example JING, it allows you to use boxes, arrows and the like. My idea was, if the boxes allowed it, we could use the Spawn Index I compiled and have the box contain sprites of the available pokemon, their level range, and the like, the more content we can use for the boxes with out making them too cluttered, the more aesthetically pleasing it will be, and the more likely people will be to remember it. I'll give you a visual example Example of box ROUTE 22 Walking in grass Lv 2~5 Lv 2~5 Lv 3~5 I did more than this but got trolled by image restrictions, sent to Darkshade and Strychnine

Okay so I've finished indexing all of Kanto's encounter-per-area....god my hands are a wreck(like almost 3 hrs of straight typing.) Sending it now Also: The EV training How-To should be relatively short, like a 1-3 min video showing the rules of EV training. Example: Show someone fighting a pokemon with an EV clean pokemon, show the stat going up, maybe throw in the whole pokemon swap thing where more than one pokemon gets an EV from a single foe. Any more in-depth than that, and it would make the EV guide that someone else on the forums wrote up null and void, and I don't like the idea of, pardon my french, Shitting all over someone's work. Regarding the IVs, I think it would be common knowledge to anyone who actually cares enough to know what IVs do. lol ;D

Hmm, Controls/how to rebind them as well as how to heal videos should be covered in the first 2 videos, but I don't feel that an item FAQ warrants a video section because, well blatantly put, the game tells you what every item does in one form or another. :D

In all honesty, 5minutes might be too long for some trivial videos, and the work around the voice overs are the boxes that Jing allow you to use, use them like captions and give a little more detail as to what you're doing. I mean it'd be kind of nonsensical to end up beating the game for everyone in a help guide, kinda takes some of the fun out of it. If I were to give a layout for major events to go about it would go as following(correct me if I'm missing anything) How to get Starter Pokemon Where Parcel is for Pokedex/balls Gary Battle near Viridian Mt. Moon path (Can be done easily with a repel or 2 for speed) Highlight on which fossil gives what pokemon Video Introducing Golden Bridge and the Team Rocket Bandit(Dig guy) to help with progression VERMILLION PokeFAN Club(Bike) SS Anne Mention Diglett Cave Introducing Rock Tunnel(Steps include getting/using cut, where to cut branch CELEDON Eevee Location Tea Location LAVENDER 2SpookyTower Introduce Snorlaxs Sliph Co. Teleporter Walkthrough(I just know people will get lost here) Lapras Guy Fighting Gym Bring to attention the rewards as I know people will ask where this is SAFARIZONE Locations for GOLDTEETH and SURF List pokemon by Safari Area Seafoam island CINNABAR Pokemon Mansion Fossil revival(Tell how to get Aerodactyl here) Giovanni If you want to do all the routes, I'd be more than willing to compile a list of obtainable pokemon per route and their appearance rates.

I am really keen to help on this idea, Anything to subdue the flood of the same question every hour on the hour would be nice.
