I forget where but I believe it would be difficult to add Johto because of the gba emulator used for this game. 2nd generation titles (besides the remakes for HGSS) were on gameboy colors and never on advanced. They would have to recode a lot just to make that happen. So from this I think a custom region would be next before Johto but I could be wrong. Edit: I stand corrected.

Let's just focus on the economy and comps first. Those are more important than a new region.

About notifying the casuals. Make news sections on log in screens. Having that when they log in can fix a lot of problems, along with Oak or Birch telling the player about the system after beating your rival. I also think that even losing should have a very small BP payout and loss in ELO (naturally). Overall I support this idea, I will sleep on this and comeback with more ideas/feedback. This would get me to actually form a team to play comp. +1

Ah. Well I like the idea of having the E4 have a longer cooldown but with a payout.

I am surprised that there hasn't been any Suggestion Threads made on how to fix the economy. Would love to keep reading and help with suggestions but this has become repetitive which I am guilty of as well.

It would be nice to have OP put them on the first post when the event has concluded that way we wouldn't have to search for them. But, that is my preference and not my decision.

I am one of those people who has weird time schedules due to work and school. I just want to know how possible it would be to have replays of this or the streamer to have the replay on their twitch account. I love watching you guys fight in mauville and use to spectate tourneys when they were regular. That is all.

Correct. You learn this in marketing class. Unfortunately image is everything, I prefer performance to image but in marketing what brings "investors" is a business plan and professionalism (investors would be new players). As Gilan said earlier about the log in screen. There should be some quick links to hot topics and recent changelogs right there in front of you when you boot up the game. The more members that are directed to the forums will hopefully invovle them more and progress the community further. I also do not visit the main page unless for alt account creation, I just leave the forums open and when I open up the web browser it is all still there. I will respectfully disagree with you about not needing more emphasis on comp play. I believe that a singles ladder system should be next, then another PvE element (quests, dungeons, crafting). Pokemon screams battling and without a ladder system we have to rely on community members to keep track of performance of other community members (don't have to but the Best player thread is pretty popular on the forums).

It would be difficult for staff to keep up with this. It could be handled ingame or have more moderators. I love the idea. I think having to use the forums more than in-game would really upset some people. Can always have team leads report results like they use to in game battles and if any abusing happens mods and can look into it and wipe the teams progress or ban them for that season/league for awhile. Also I think a singles ladder system would need to be put into place before a team ladder.
