Been getting into Stephen King's The Dark Tower series, currently just on the first book but I'm really enjoying it so far. I've had a bit of the series spoiled for me, but that's only made me want to read more!

Some irl friends and I started a PTU (Pokemon Tabletop United) campaign. It's been super fun so far, the tabletop is actually a lot simpler than I thought it was gonna be, plus it's been a good way for me personally to get back into writing (as I like to write little short stories based on our adventures). Was wondering if anyone else has played this tabletop? What are some of your stories? Have you ever played the previous version (PTA, aka Pokemon Tabletop Adventure)? My character (named Amber-Lee) has been trapped inside a Spirit Tomb for 30 years and was "rescued" (well, more accidentally pulled out) by a member of the team she now travels with. She wants to become a pokemon professor and follows around her teammates who all want to defeat the local pokemon league. We haven't been playing for very long so my own collection of interesting stories is pretty short, but I'm looking forward to what our GM has in store for us. The second gym he made for us involved a really cool two-level maze design (was a grass gym), and he's hinted at some swarm shenanigans being in the next one.

I started playing in late 2012, didn't really get into the game as a whole until a year later when I started getting more into the community and teamspeak and just enjoyed the game more as an mmo and not just as a pokemon game. That has what has kept me coming back from time to time, is community and friends. New friends I make wanting to play pokemon as a group or old friends wanting to check out "that old pokemon game we used to play". It's definitely a cool experience to see how a game you grows and expands throughout the years. While I haven't always agreed with some of the changes, the game has never stopped holding my interest and that to me is one of the more important parts that an mmo needs. (Speaking as someone that plays a lot of mmo's, none have kept me coming back just to "check in" as much as this game) I really do have nothing but good vibes and wishes for this game. I only read the OP's post so who knows what the general feel is in this thread now, but as many up's and down's the game has been through, the many many changes and even wipes, the changes in staff; in top teams; in notable players, etc, the one thing that has really survived in my mind is the spirit of pokemon. And as long as the dev's keep that, I'll keep stopping by and thinking "great job".

Supposed no one has mentioned the horrible shiny that is Flareon. They turned a killer flame Pokemon.... Brown. Brown flames. ffs Also best shinies are silver/white and blue/teal shinies. (Eevee, Espurr, Slugma, Relicanth, Flygon, etc)

Read all the way from march 31, I should go to bed that took me an hour it's almost 5am, Tfw about to MAYBE get three hours of sleep. Also I'm waiting for the day the Mods notice my avatar is still lewd. Also also, Mostly Russian with a dash of German blood makes it almost impossible for me to really get drunk. By the time I'm drunk everyone else is passed out. :/
