The strongest living creature on earth is the Orbatid Mite. The Orbatid Mite can withstand pulling strength up to 1,180 times its own weight; The equivalent of the average human pulling 82 tons.

The Darwin Beetle is a species of Stag Beetle found in Argentina and Chile. The male Darwin Beetle have incredibly large mandibles, with which they use to compete with other males to find a mate. They use their large jaws to grab the other male from under their wings, and then toss them off trees from about 20m high. They also use their large jaws as a cage to keep females in place while mating.

The Steninae Water Skater, a sub family of the Rove Beetle, will vigorously discharge gas similar to jet propulsion when enemies come nearby, and skip across a surface of water to escape. On top of that, it is said that the Water Skater can move a distance 150 times its own body length in under a second. That's approximately 945 k/ph when converted to a human scale.

The Bagworm moth is an insect which produces string. It doesn't weave webs and nets to catch prey like Spiders do, it simply devotes its entire life to producing string that doesn't break. The string it produces can support 2.5 times the weight of a spider's web of equal thickness.

uguuroaches contain a tremendous amount of muscle strength hidden within. The Rhinoceros Beetle, a classic example of strength, can pull an object 50 times its own weight. However, a uguuroach can exhibit an equal amount of pulling strength should footing and other conditions be met.

Sweet mother of god, I stopped reading Medaka Box for a bit, then picked it back up yesterday. I chose a really bad chapter to stop at, shit gets real immediately after. Also Kumagawa Misogi is the best character goddamn.
