Hey guys.
Today I somehow stumbled upon this game again. The last time I played was apparently way back in 2012. I'm recovering memories, but I'll admit they're coming back rather slowly. So much has changed (wow!) that going off of memories probably wouldn't serve me well anyways. So, I'll be approaching this game as if I'm a brand new player. Before I get too far, are there any quirks to old accounts or old Pokemon I should be aware of?
It was bumped, not necro'd. The reason was valid because somebody had the same suggestion (http://forums.pokemm...limited-rather/). Would you rather a previous discussion on the same idea be bumped, or have duplicates every so often.
This would be a necro'd thread: http://forums.pokemm...about-the-game/
Edit: misread
I think a 1 badge requirement, + 23 hour cooldown would work best. New players then couldn't just camp 23 hours for a different starter, they would also have to get up to Pewter and beat Brock, each time.
I guess that's not that big of a deal then. But there's also the issue of players having access to all 3 starters in the beginning of the game. So I think the restart once every 24 hours would effectively cover all bases.
Not bad. My input would be that you don't get a new starter. The reason being that you could check it's nature/projected IVs and restart in a matter of seconds if it's undesirable.
Yes, this has been discussed before. I am still in favor. Also, my input is that only the person who wrote the note can view what was written. If a new trainer is in possession of the Pokemon, he/she can fill in the notes with whatever, the previous notes wouldn't show up.
Oops. Apparently sigs can't be more than 500p wide, D:
Also, sorry about the background. If you think you can do better with a PNG, try these.

Either one. Maybe a blue/black theme, same other stuff ;D
I don't think you realize that the pickup table goes to 91-100 in Emerald. This is how it is in the games. This suggestion is only tailoring that to fit with Fire Red. Get the hell over it.
