  1. I have a quick question for everyone. Would anyone be interested in seasonal mod packs which are made to be activated with each respective season of Unova and provide a more true-to-retail experience? If so, let me know! I'll likely end up doing it either way, but if there's enough interest I'll place it higher on the to-do list.

  2. Hey everyone!

I've made a mod that overhauls almost every track in Unova, Hoenn and Kanto to add a more modern sound to the game, complete with custom tracks!

The goal was to keep compression to a minimum, so each track was sourced from 512 kbps files and will reach at least 320 kbps in-game (assuming your system can handle the extra load.) I've even edited the loops so they flow better and last longer (although many tracks still need work) and I've also made custom loops from the Pokemon Origins anime.

And for people who are concerned about size, or who just want to change the OST for one region, I've also uploaded smaller modular packs for Kanto and Hoenn in addition to the main mod so you can customize whichever regions you'd like.

    What's does this mod include?

    • Let's Go Pikachu/Eevee (Kanto)
    • Heart Gold/Soul Silver (Kanto)
    • Pokemon Origins (Kanto - Bicycle Theme, Lavender Town, Champion Music, Title Screen)
    • Ultra Sun/Moon  (Sevii Islands)
    • Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire (Hoenn)
    • Zame/Pokeli/Pokemon Black & White Super Mix (Unova)
    • "Battle! Loremaster Zinnia" - ORAS (Everywhere - PvP Battle Music)
    • "Evolution" - ORAS (Everywhere - Evolution Music)
    • Android support thanks to testing by @Zebtal!

    Future Updates:

    • Extend loops for Unova/Kanto/Hoenn OST
    • Create/upload slightly compressed "lite" version for lower-end devices

(If you'd like me to upload this to another host for whatever reason, send me a DM and I'll be happy to do so.)

    Enjoy!

  3. Attack would be nice for sure, but that just depends on what type of team you're going for. If I had to choose which Pokemon I'd put into that team, I'd likely choose Salamence.

Similar teams to yours run Cofagrigus/Reunic, Salamence/Dragonite, Meinshao/Conkuldurr, Ferrothorn and a good mix of others. The main idea is to make sure you plug all your defensive and offensive options in properly.

  4. I can provide a bit of input, although you may want to cover your bases and make sure that you're not missing anything with the movesets I have listed

Hopefully that gives you some insight. As for what roles you're missing, I can't say. But I can say that you seem to be full up on bulky defenders. Good luck!

if i want to do later on pvp should i focus now on the poke wich i catch (what Iv they have)

Others have expressed a different opinion, but I think that you should start filtering good/bad IVs now if you do plan to play endgame PvP. My reasoning for this advice is that time is limited, and you may as well try for the best IVs you can get now rather than later. I'm not sure that I'd go out of my way to catch bunches of different Pokemon until I finished each story.

However if you're playing PvE, your PvE team doesn't need to be perfect.

  6. Hello! I read in the Mod Documentation that you can't modify the Y position of GIFs.

table-front-altitide.txt - Modifies the rendered Y position for front sprites. Would control shadow rendering, if we supported it. (PNG Only)

However, I was hoping that the guide is a bit dated since there hadn't been an update in so long.

Is it possible to edit the Y pos of a GIF, or that still not a thing? I love the animated Pokemon sprite mods that I see around here but I wanted to help out by fixing the position of a few mons that are clipping/floating. Thanks!

Those are not HD like the sprites of this mod, I know because I use that site to help me fix some sprites I found bugged

Yeah I noticed that, but I also realized the potential to use the sprites for fixes and the like. Glad we're on the same page.

  8. Thank you so very much for all of your hard work! Do you happen to know about this site? They host a bunch of HD sprites, so maybe they could be of use to you. Also, I can manage Photoshop and Illustrator well enough. If you ever need help resizing, or with anything else at all, let me know and I'd be happy to help!

  9. Welcome Yugi!

    Tips:

    Talk to people, make friends
Use the forum! The Guide Tavern is one of the most useful sections, for both new and old players.

Be prepared to ride your bike......

    Have fun!

  10. THIS. You have no idea how many times I have provided links to the forum for new players. If there was a way to make them browse the forum IN ANY small  WAY before playing the game, most of the simple questions they have would be answered.

The people who ask those kind of questions don't read forums or know how to google anyway.

    Good idea in theory though.

<_<  you are too right...... But we can hope for change, can't we? And whats better than hoping for change? Taking steps towards it!

  11. well, it means, walking around and count if the tool is right, if not, change the settings to be more precise and retry !

if while testing the number of steps counted is higher than the steps actually done, the interval value have to be set higher, if it is the opposite (measured steps lower that number of steps actually done) you have to set the interval to a lower number

Ok, gotcha. I think someone had posted the intervals they worked out on another tools thread. I will use those as reference points and see how it goes.

    To quote ProfessorElderberry:

    Walking: 255ms pause per step
    Bike: 85ms pause per step

if walking is 1.0x speed, running is 1.5x speed and riding the bicycle is 2.0x speed.

well, on that, I'm going to need help ! as you can imagine English is not my primary language so why don't you send me via PM mistakes you can see ?

    ON IT! GRAMMAR NAZI, GO!!!!!!!!
