What the mods and older players fail to realize is not everyone is a meta gaming pokemaster. Mods are trying to solve the lack of postgame content by turning the game content into postgame content, which will result is noobs getting crushed and leave. Pokemmo was already quite unwelcoming to new players. these changes are just going to make it worse.

I don't see why not, its not a problem unless somehow one person is found to be single handingly manipulating the economy (((aka me))), or if one person is somehow reviled by the entire server (not happened yet)

Ye, given enough time I can sell for 80k per pop. However 70k is usually the going rate for people who want to sell theirs relatively quickly

I'm all for making the game more interesting but a level cap is a incredibly artificial way of increasing the difficulty. One could say it is a lazy method instead of improving ai or making trainer teams more creative.

The problem is I'm trying to play unova without using other regions and the levelcap is actively limiting my playstyle. Almost forcing me to cheat by using other region resources.

Playing through unova makes me feel unusually constrained. Currently at the fourth gym and my starter is capped at 30, and from all the expreince I would guess he should be closer to 40. I understand the point of not letting us use high level mons from a different region, but why the hell would you cap the level of mons we catch playing through the story as well as our starter?

The plan is that new sources of making money will be found as unova is played through, don't stress out too much. Things will be fixed if they are needed to be fixed.

I do understand you guys are trying to cut down the amount of garbage mons listed for millions by noobs, however maybe you guys could implement a way of increasing listing time by paying additional yen? Or even a trader rating system, as a trader sells more items/pokemon they can list their sales for longer. Most traders know the prices well enough to reliably sell mons given enough time.

That's not a good reason, people who enjoy trading won't enjoy grinding dungeons. They are two entirely different things.

I think its a good idea to nerf Ubers because it will increas pool of pokemon used in OU (nobody plays ubers anyway)

I think it would be interesting if pokemmo implemented track remixes as alternative to vanilla music, would make listening to ingame bgm more rewarding. Pokemmo would in this scenario use remixes made by pokemmo users.

I'm personally not as bad, only had about 200 listings max. However I don't really see why we can't flood the gts with pokemon. The gts is one of the few aspects of the game that entertained me before this, implementing this 10 day max rule is going to rise prices as its going to be a humungous pain in the ass to constantly relist niche pokemon. I think gts is going to become a place where only very cheap broadly desired items are sold and fast instead of the previous trading streamline we had before. I've sold meta pokemon on the gts before and it takes a long time usually to sell them. I've had quite a few for a month on the gts before they got sold, mostly because it requires large amount of capital while the buying +being certain they want what they want. Listing times will get longer as the listing unusualness increases, such as selling meta NU or RU.

I feel like have side characters besides your main is pointless after you farmed the storyline items. I think having pokedex progress be shared between your 3 characters per account is a good way to make playing side characters rewarding. I'm playing a side character right now and I feel no drive to catch pokemon because pokedex data on side characters are useless.

Have not touched Dingle since my third test where the silk scarve was placed above him. http://imgur.com/mgYWvDT He is now 86/172 listings, somehow he teleported up 70 spaces... I have also noticed that the top half of my first page is always on the last page the next day... Why implement this? It just makes it harder to find stuff because shit is rotating around, one day your magikarp is around the seventeenth page and two days later he is around page 8....

I never said it was not my fault, I was saying that the gtl listings page should be more organized. Also after a couple more weeks of using GTL I definitely am sure the "Your Listings" page is not organized by newest lisitings, as I have had numerous times have old listings move to the very last page and newer listings move around to the front. Then I log in another time and see my listings swap around again, so the listings page is organized by something besides alphabetical order or listing date.. If it the 'Your Listings" page was organized by oldest listings first like you suggest then this should be on page eighteen. So it is not organized by oldest listings first. It is not listed by newest listings first. It is not listed by alphabetical order, and it is not listed by price of the listing. Really what I'm getting at is the organization of the "My Listings" page makes no sense and could be worked on. Even if it is organized by oldest listing dates first it would still be asinine. I sometimes have more than 250 listings in the gtl, and I can only see that amount increasing as I flip more and more pokemon. If I want to find a mon I listed I would need to remember when I listed it? When I have mons listed from a month ago? If I can't remember then I gotta manually check all 250 pokemon I have listed to find my desired mon... + Meet Dingle. He is a magikarp I just used to test the organization of the Your Listings page http://imgur.com/a/xvtCo. So what I did is in the first image Dingle is have the magikarp Dingle listed for 15k, he is roughly at position 145/176. Literally just listed ( so it is once again not organized by listing date). Then I canceled Dingle and relisted him for 16,234k. Then he was position 159/176, what does this mean? I don't know. The organization is based on price obviously, but if it was like that I would have all my 300k listings or 2k listings be on the first page, so it must be something different. Then I listed a silk scarve to see what happens and it was positioned before the magikarp. tl;dr The "Your Listings" page organization is really inconsistent for some reason.
