I was just curious if once you completed the story on one island, if you were able to move on to one of the other islands and complete it's story with the same character and pokemon? I am new to PokeMMO.

You can do everything with one character.

chansey/blissey what type of dumbass would keep a sp-attacker in verses chansey/blissey don't care how many If had 4 + sp-attack on it i instantly switch if say blissay into a Pokemon that can hurt her. let enough one hit a blissay is single move. not many Pokemon able to do that

only true answer to her instantly kill her

Smeargle - Mind Reader+ Sheer Cold + Spore + Agility - Good Bye Blissey OHOKs probably only way you gonna drop a blissey in one hit

I suggest you start playing MMO before giving people advice and criticism on what is good or bad in our current metagame because it's clear to everyone that you have never dueled anyone in game with tournament mode on.

I have to agree with gb, you're either a troll or you just haven't played very much pvp.

    Manectric @ Choice Scarf
    Ability: Lightning Rod
    EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
    Timid Nature
    IVs: 0 Atk
    - Flamethrower
    - Thunderbolt
    - Hidden Power [Ice]
    - Volt Switch

    This thing hella strong

Why give a set for it then say it's "hella strong"? A better argument would be providing calcs against prominent pokes with it doing actually good damage. That 105 sp att is walled pretty easy by the likes of chansey/blissey and even some other pokes. That volt switch is not going to do good enough damage to either of them to make that a viable argument.

Sense I know you bring Chansey Then just nidoking down your chansey who needs choice band build up toxic stacks until you cant take damage out heal the toxic damage you take

Leftovers Protect/Dig/Toxic/Super Power  Put up toxic make pp reserve pp stall you seimic tosses until your hp drops into OTK range gamble it all on single super-power. nidoking wins. chansey cant out speed a nidoking so it always go first. softboil this

Chansey heals status on the switch and you end up having a gimped weak pokemon from using super power. That allows the opponent to set up on it or do damage to the next poke if you switch. Nidoking is definitely not a good option for the task.

There are a lot of problems with it from legal/technical perspectives, as this was the generation when encryption started occurring for ROMs. Basic things like how Gen 6 introduced 3D character models, and changed the movement system into 8-directional (I think they achieved omni-directional in gen 7?) are also problems due to the character model requirements for it, and we'd probably have to trash our work on character customization to make it feasible.

Eventually we're going to run out of NDS regions so we'll probably try at some point if we think funding is good for a serious attempt at it. It would probably take several years though, and by the time we get to that point, there'll probably be another handheld generation which we'd try for, as the 3DS has already reached the end of its lifespan.

Would you guys ever consider recreating and implementing the later gen pokes into the game if it turns out to be unfeasible?

I think Wobbuffet is pretty too damn uncompetitive without team preview. Even with it obviously Wobbuffet still remains uncompetitive but at least you can blame the way you played the situation if you know it is there. However, without team preview the Wobbuffet user can remove a needed counter without making any predictions or "good plays" or can Encore lock something to basically cause a prediction-free set up sweep when the other player did no misplays and I think that's really unfair.

I'd hope it's either emphasized to devs to implement team preview asap or I'd wish there was a discussion to quick ban Wobbuffet until we get team preview. Again, it's not inherently OP Pokemon (in terms of risk/reward) - it's just ridiculously uncompetitive without team preview.

I'm not a advocate for team preview but with things like Wobb and Dugtrio going for trapping lately I couldn't agree more with either option. Quick banning seems like the better option though because I feel like with how much team preview has been discussed it probably won't be added.

This is true but do not forget that there are other pokemons of sinnoh also like Gallade, Gliscor, Electivire, Magmortar and so on.

That's just evolutions of pokemon we already had though. We are missing quite a few and some that would change the competitive meta game some. ( Garchomp, Gastrodon, Rotom off the top of my head ) Can't remember if infernape was as good in gen 5 as 4.

Thanks! Yeah I knew "JessicaJung" as someone else. I joined HUGZ when it was in a revival stage. So I wasn't there for when it was super bad. Though, it was troubling being a new player and people refusing to trade with you because you're in HUGZ, lol.

Not much trading is done in person now anyway. As far as I know there aren't any teams like that anyway most are focused on the competitive scene.
