I just met a horde of 4xGolbat and 1xZubat in Icefall Cave in case that changes anything EDIT: and one with 3xZubat EDIT2: and a horde with 3xSeel and 2xDewgong :wacko: EDIT3: It looks like the 100% Golbat thing only applies to the inner part of the cave. EDIT4: Nope. Found 5xSeel horde inside. EDIT5: Apparently it's 50% only Seels and 50% only Golbat in the inner part of the cave.

So people could spam their crappy Tentacools in Johto ;)

:D Now I won't use any of the above because when I'm synchro hunting I want to run away 80%+ of the time and I cba to spend 10k on one pokemon that has 20% chance of being the right nature. All this does is annoy me and force me to keep Teleport on my synchros.

First off: your numbers make no sense whatsoever (quick example: you'd have to KO moltres 12 times to get it and only find it once per 5000 encounters, so you'd need 60000 encounters (on average) in the same area to get it which is 6 times as many as you'd need for a shiny right now. Legendaries: see above Shiny crafting: Would make finding a shiny boring and no new player could ever get one, because you'd have to grind 10000 encounters. Spawns: Would take out starters and rare pokemon out of PvP because they couldn't be bred. Trainer classes: Everyone would have to be a hunter at first because all are based on dex entries. TMs: 600 Farfetch'd encounters for SUNNY DAY? Sure

Did someone figure out the times for short, medium, long, very long growth time yet? A friend told me very long is 72h at max yield, so maybe 8, 24, 48, 72? Where are all the berry farming locations? I like Route 123 best so far because it has 12 slots and isn't too far from Mauville.

Well after your last post on this it was clear, but I wanted to tell Smarthbunny how I got to a different conclusion than his since he didn't seem to grasp the concept of there being another possible interpretation.

It's not a hard thing to understand. It's just that it says "80% of all profits" at the top. Profit refers to income minus expenses irl and when rl companies talk about giving x% of their profits to a charity they also mean that.

As I understand it he doesn't use 80% of all money he gets, but only of the profit so the calculation would be like this: (money earned - value of the pokemon sold) * 0.8 = contribution to the new players

How do you decide who gets the funding for the more expensive stuff? I could imagine people taking advantage of this by creating alts. How do you determine how much profit you made from selling a comp (since their value is pretty subjective)?

For a start clarify what you'll do for new players with the money you collect.
