  1. Suggestion go int he suggestion box, and use the search before posting. I made this suggestion months ago.
  2. Open with something with a muti hit move, then you never have to switch. If you do that we are talking about 1 extra line of text. Turn your text speed up to 5 too. As for why its a thing, it greatly benefits comp pokemon and we can't have it work differently in PvP and then double back on that and make it different in PvE too.
  3. Lol is 1 extra key press really so bad? If you hate it so much use muti-hit moves like bonemerang.
  4. As long as you keep logging in you will never need to relist anything.

  7. Yup. If there isnt much reward then hardly anyone would use the mode. Yen > RP. No the dungeons are supposed to be PvE.
  8. Yeah not really. Its ok to have godly everstone rates because you are likely going to lose your money/items/pokemon going to the area to get them whre there will certainly be players waiting to player kill you.
  9. I think Black isnt Goku because of the earing. It could be the other kai dude, the old one. I like the theory that Hit is black too but that is also unlikely because Hit wasnt necessarily evil. More neutral i guess. Remember how the old guy said that the gren rings are formed when i anew universe is created because of people fucking with time. Because of this they literally could both be zamasu.
  10. I am proposing we have a new separate area where outside of safe areas you automatically accept any duel requests you receive (lvl 50 tournament mode only). If you lose the battle all of the pokemon in your party are gone forever (except one) and you lose half your money and all your items except for the most valuable one. The player who wins the battle receives the money and all other items, except for the most valuable one. Pokemon, money and items can be transferred FROM the PvP Island HOWEVER; pokemon, money and items can NOT be transferred TO the PvP Island. You may use the GTL but ONLY to sell items. The buying section is entirely not available. Battle items can all be bought with yen on PvP island and are cheaper than GTL values. -This is not broken because gaining and maintaining a large bankroll on PvP island would be hard af. To make things more epic we could have some areas with godly farming rates. Like geodudes with 50% chance to hold everstone, silk scarf, shards etc. There is no breeding on the PvP island. Comps do not exist here. Because of this wild catches are very valued on the PvP Island. The Island can be gotten to by taking a boat from vermilion or slateport city. The island is designed with a central town and with branching open wilderness surrounding it. Teleport and fly are not available. Bikes are also not available. The wilderness wil be dsigned to be very large and have a sort of open world type of feel with expansive areas to moves around/hide in. There are catching areas within the main town area so that players may build a team prior to leaving the safe area and have a chance to get by players guarding the entrances to the wilderness. Within the wilderness is many more wild pokemon area's. With some of the more "rare" being very far away from the town thus making it harder to return without having your spoils stolen. Healing items may not be used in battle but they may be used freely outside of battle.
  11. If you understand my concern of players merging with NPCs then it should be clear why that looks like crap. I certainly would care alot less about NPCs if they actually did something. And even if they did, why have them in the middle of everything, in the way? And look at the position of those NPCs they are all off to the side, not literally blocking you from moving in THE main port town where everyone kicks it.
  12. How will they walk over players when they are programmed to not walk anymore? I didnt suggest this to make my travel easier. I suggested it to no make the game look like shit. That doesnt mean we have to leave the game as "vanilla". It's an MMO it shouldnt be left as is. It should be edited to fit the theme. We arent just playing netplay on an emulator.... Sure there might be useless NPCs but they are usually in houses or on a path in the middle or nowhere or literally anywhere but in the middle of a well traversed path. In a regular MMO 100% of the NPCs in major areas, hub towns, will initiate quests because they know thats where players are likely to talk to them.

Well maybe we can just make the ones that move be non-moving as to not walk over player sprites (making the game look glitchy, unpolished) with a focus on vermilion because it is the main kick it spot. And for the ones in the way of everything (looking at you old man) just move them over near the dirt patch to the right of vermilion. Moving them somewhere still in the open but not in the way shouldnt affect anything for those who wish to speak to him. Honestly though i dont think you an compare the NPCs in this game to other MMORPGs. In other games about 95% of those NPCs initiate a quest, or often a series of quests. Then when you are done with the quests sometimes they overall disappear, this is useful to the player as well because they can visually see what quests there are available to them. In PokeMMO its the opposite. 95% of the NPCs do absolutely nothing and 100% of them dont initiate any sort of quest.

  15. Firstly your interpretation of me being aggressive is just that, your interpretation. I was being quite civil while just bringing up my points. Secondly, people certainly shouldnt be playing this game to just play through the storyline. I know many do and i acknowledge that the retention rate of those who finish the game is quite low. Thats why there should be more things separating this game from the mainline games. Like i said before. We shouldnt be riding so hard on the ROMs. NPC's might serve a purpose in the mainline games where there are literally no other players in the game but here we do have other players. I can't think of a single time when i talked to some random NPC in the middle of a path somewhere. And i doubt you can find anyone who plays this game to talk to NPCs just to see 1 string of text which usually doesnt even say anything useful.

  17. People hardly donate and anything to give them more money should be viewed in a positive light. Kyu already said he could make fying between regions possible but that isnt this suggestion at all.
  18. Then they should be playing the rom in a regular emulator. I highly doubt any sane person is gonna notice the old guy missing in verm and be like "its not true to the orginal!!!111!". This game is its own game and it shouldnt have to ride off of the ROM so hard. Why because you said so?

  21. It's not just to clear up space. Its to make the overall vibe of a port town feel more mmo-like. You are literally defending lame ass npcs that walk over player sprites making the game look shitty and unfinished.
  22. The "people" in the game would be actual players. Much more cozy than mindless npcs that literally dont even serve a purpose 95% of the time.
  23. It would make the game feel much more polished. The main port town in the game should have no obstacles and glitchy NPCs walking over other players.
