  2. Its a fact that we need to collect a lot of breeders in order to breed properly. We also have to lvl them all since we have to narrow the IVs. The incentive to buy more boxes has never been higher. We need to have exact IVs on pokes OR be given new boxes from staff. What do you all think is the best way to resolve this problem?
  3. Trust me, this is correct. I show you. Parent 1: 31(stat1) Parent 2: 31(stat2) -—-—-—-—-—. Child 1: 2x31(stat1 and stat2). Parent 3: 31(stat2) Parent 4: 31(stat3) -—-—-—-—--—-—-—-—- Child 2: 2x31(stat2 and stat3). child 1: 2x31(stat1 and stat2) Child 2: 2x31(stat2 and stat3) -—-—-—-—--—-—-—-—- Child3: 3x31(stat1, stat2 and stat3). You see that to make 3x31 requires 4 pokes and the ivs are in a relation of 1:2:1 To make a 4x31 you must breed two 3x31. Again they must have ivs 1:2:1. Adding this up you get 1:3:3:1 relation for the ivs. This is the next row of the pascals triangle. Take a minute and draw out how it works if that helps. Again this is just the minimum amount of 1x31 pokes, of course you could find or buy 2x31 or 3x31 which would skip steps. A 4x31 +nature poke requires 16 pokes if using 15 1x31 pokes and 1 for nature. This assumes gender selection too, as you will get stuck with incompatible pokes if we are left to rng genders.
  4. This is good, just to add to this, these numbers are pascals triangle. In other words, to breed a 3x31 baby from 1x 31 parents requires 4 parents with an iv relation of 1:2:1. At any rate you can look at the pascals triangle and know what the iv distribution ought to be for parents to make the desired babies. Adding nature simply knocks you down a row further on the pascals triangle.
  5. I thought we wanted to prevent inflation? This is instant inflation of fossil pokemon, good HP pokemon, and genderless pokemon! How to breed for HP now? How many people want to waste their confirmed HP pokes to breed one that isnt guaranteed the desired HP? Will there be a HP passing consumable as well? By the way, based on iv inheritance i know how to breed the HP now but itill change for every egg since new parents. Will have to grind a while to get the right 2 parents for a roll at the right HP. I would have much rather devs added a nerf to the IV roll, say IF the egg has ivs of 2x31 or 3x31 (at any point during the iv rolls) THEN successive rolls are either capped below 31 or % of additonal 31 drops to a very low value. Dev team should have seen the 5-6x31 trend develop some time ago and been more proactive. Rather than nerfing at an appropriate time, they just ruin the system completely. I will wait to see how it goes but I think this may ruin the game for some people. The bulk of my time was spent creating breeders, comps and farming dittos. The breeders will be of use until i consume them all, which i wont since i hope a new system will be implemented eventually. Same for the dittos. Only thing of value now is the comps, which should all see a rise in value as it will no longer be possible to breed ones that are as good. A long while ago, people said breeding was too hard and so we buffed it. Hindsight is 20/20. We should have kept those mechanics huh? Would be many fewer god pokemon around and we wouldnt need this awful new system to correct the mistakes of the devs caving to complaints of difficult breeding. Dev team caved, we got easy breeding. Dev team decides it is too easy and ruins game. EDIT: Well now that I vented and thought it over I think its worth trying it this way. It will make god IV comp pokes finished products rather than starting points for breeding more gods. Its at least an interesting idea worth trying.
  6. Some people probably assume you are trolling. You can look stuff up in the value discussion thread in trade corner to get values of things. Check trade corner for more ideas of what people expect you to pay. Sorry u get blocked.
  7. When hunting ditto i like to transform the ditto into magikarp with tackle and splash (in that order). It gets a few pp of tackle but it wont spore your smeargle, which i find annoying when hunting without ultra balls. Its important if you try to use poke or great balls since the ditto can struggle itself to death.
  8. Could we put an EV yield multiplier into the menu? EV yield multiplier up to 10x (or some other number). Would still have a bit of grinding to do but would reduce time invested. need to be able to change the multiplier though to get non-max evs.
  9. Maybe they can make it if you got eliminated early you get partial refund of entry fee up until a certain level? Just to help not totally discourage bad players. 10k just doesnt seem like a lot to me. Lots of healing potions on the other hand...
