  1. Yes they are still available. I do not play PokeMMO anymore so there will be no further updates, you can build on them how you want.

  3. Some boxes can be removed with a newline. '\n' Nurse joy's dialogue isn't one of them.
  4. Updated - Removed all text from fossil researchers in all regions. - Removed leftover breeding string. - Removed text from Mauville bike store when switching between Mach and Acro bikes.
  5. I don't know how much control iOS gives over the device these days, haven't used one in years. You need write access to the strings folder wherever that may be, and put them in there. These strings currently don't work with mobile though. I don't play mobile personally.

  8. All of them. The unova "placeholder" file breaks mobile though so I wouldn't use that if you're on mobile. I'll look into that sometime after Halloween.

  10. Updated for Halloween grinding: - Faster wisps - Faster turn in dialogues - Faster Pumpking dialogues - Faster Kids dialogue. Note: I have not been able to test this yet since servers are offline, should work fine though. I will edit this post to confirm, or you can try it yourself when servers are online. Edited: Tested. Works fine and kids added to list of strings removed.

Some Changes: - Berries watering dialogue box removed entirely (Instantaneous Watering) - Berry harvesting improved - GAME FREAK Morimoto dialogue removed - Improved E4 dialogue again. - Confirmed to be compatible with Gilians Encounter Counter. (I have personally been using it successfully) - BP Exchanges in all regions have had their dialogue removed. (Excluding confirmation of item/price which has not been removed but instead shortened). - @nurver9's post has been referenced and his .xml file has been used to properly load from the intended locations.
  13. @nurver9Thanks for this information, I have something to clarify though since the topic is load order. `a_placeholder_for_enabling_unova_edits.xml` Am I correct in saying the game will only load this file as a primary string container if it is ahead of the other possible string containers in alphabetical order?
  14. @ShivaGoddess There was actually a version like this that utilized grey to differentiate easier. Is this what you meant? I asked @budadeth to change it because I wasn't a fan.
  15. Custom language was removed. Strings are set to use English, as long as you're on Engilsh it should work fine.
  16. I believe you got region id 2 and 3 reversed there for those particular strings. I have done as suggested and not edited the received an egg string in each region. <string id="271131044">{01} received the EGG from\nthe DAY-CARE MAN.</string> However it still doesn't seem to be tracking eggs whatsoever? Testing horde's at Rapidash on Rt12 counted 4 per horde. Edit: Also tracking hoppip swarms as 1x Golbat, 1x bulbasaur, 2x bulbasaur. This just seems to be a bug in the counter. Probably more suited to your own thread.
  17. Thanks for the information! These strings actually haven't broken GEC as far as I can tell. Horde encounters and single encounters seem to work fine but I have not tested other types of encounters. Which strings specifically are the Archetype encounter looking for?
  18. Few updates: - Elite 4 dialogue removed in all regions - Petalburg Gym doors dialogue removed - "Item has worn off, use another?" Text shortened.
  19. Change the in-game language to `English - ShaoYuWei` I have updated the README.md with this screenshot. Deprecated 'en'/'English' is now used.
  20. Typo in CPU_0.xml prevented this from being imported. Fixed it now, should work on mobile. Never played on the mobile client though but just assuming it works since it can be imported fine.

I won't post every small update to this thread as I do them, you can check Github for that. But I will post batches of updates every so often when they have changed significantly enough. Changes All existing strings modifications I found were not so well documented so they weren't easy to just go in and edit, so I made my own which should be easier for me to keep track of. Thanks to @nurver9 for the informative post on the topic which helped me finish off the modifications I wanted. Maybe someone else can benefit from this repository so I'll post them here.

  23. Nice informative post. I didn't know about the dump directory at all, even though it's listed in the game's utilities.
  24. It's a VERY nice theme overall, especially love the battle interface. It could benefit from moving away from the ABDG base and leaning more into the Gen5 colors used on the player card/pc box for the rest of the GUI. The removal of the tab backgrounds make the icons a little hard to see in well lit areas like the pokecenter. Definitely a theme worth using though πŸ™‚ Thanks for this.
  25. Thanks for that, I think the shield is too bright making it hard to see things in the center of the box.
