I think we're gonna see a lot of memento and self d (with taunt and damp as well). I don't expect anyone to prepare a specific team for this, so there should be a decent amount of variety. Regardless, it had to be done, fun or not.

Overrated in what sense? From a competitive standpoint i can't think of any pokemon that is praised more than it deserves, at least here on pokemmo. The tracts that make a pokemon strong and relevant are usually pretty obvious and the very essence of competitive pokemon is using what ups your chances of winning rather than what you consider cool. Maybe some pokemon could be wrongly considered extremely good after drastic changes in a meta for a short spawn of time because of what they were able to do before those changes. Pokemon in general are more likely to be underrated if anything. Then of course there are basic ahestetic formulas such as dragonlike which will get kids hyped no matter what, but that's to be expected. I don't think a pokemon can be overrated in that sense.

When i told him "good luck breeding one" he immediately showed me his perfect hp ice jolt. The guy is competitive to the point where he'll devote his life to the game until he becomes good and renown. However you're probably right anyway, we've all seen the classic new guy interested in nothing less than 5x31. If anything (it happened to me as well) they somehow get addicted to the grind so you don't see them doing anything else other than that. Other people tend to do other things while they grind, mainly team chat or anime, so they don't care that much. It's mindless to the point where you can almost do it passively. .
