  1. You need the right Pokemon comp, and moves also. I didn't say that because I thought it was pretty obvious. You can't win just by being rich, you do have to have the brains. The doesn't mean tournaments aren't Pay to Win though.

Pay to win always involves real money...and winning.

In this case the money is needed to play, not only to win, hence not pay to win.

I mean, upgrading your gear and using it to win in pvp is what keeps almost every mmo that i can think of going, so what's the problem?

You need to get yourself some good comps to win, money is the way and at the moment that requires an insane amount of time, which also keeps the metagame from evolving and be more varied cuz everyone's broke

  2. Every verm noob i've seen had things such as hp grass venusaur, various 5x31, nice looking tauros etc.

Such things are required to have a chance of winning official tournaments, true, but that doesn't mean that you're going to win just by having them, because everyone is expected to.

  3. Shots fired

Seeing as how Tourneys are the only end game in this MMO, avoiding them is pointless.  Might as well go and play on your GBA with that in mind, because why are you still here?

Money doesnt equal skill. People who mainly shiny trade dont comp as much as someone who is more focused on that.  Honestly your whole argument is invalid because you have never bred egg moves

You must be new. Last time they removed payday, everyone rioted till they put it back.  It isnt an unfair advantage, seeing as how a Persian (or smeargle or whatever floats your sunken boat) only costs a few pokeballs, and you can level it as you payday.  If you dont have the time, then dont play?

Wait, more money sinks?  This thread is about how poor people are, they dont want to spend MORE money.

This is just dumb. Stop buying stuff? Later you talk about payday being too grindy, but here you tell people to grind away trying to get the right nature and decent IVs to fight with.

your whole argument disagrees with itself. now pls go breed something before i shoot myself responding to this nonsense

Saved me 10 good minutes, thanks.

I'd also like to point out payday is nowhere near the best way to make money.

There are 2 ways to make money efficiently atm

1 Npc runs, especially if you have access to 2 computers (3 if you can play with your feet like bishav).

My averages is 33 minutes to end my custom path, the final income is more or less 180k. (around 87k x each character)

2 Everstone hunting. my average would be 1 every 5 minutes (i always check how long it takes me to find 1), and you can easily sell them for 20k each.

That means 240k x hour, but selling them takes quite a lot of time, about 1-2 mins  each since they usually get sold 1 at a time.

Payday in icefall used to get me around 60k x hour

  4. Not exactly, the chances are it will be 30, but I think you have a small chance to carry over that 31(think like 12%-16% chance?)

    didn't know that, u sure?

that would explain the tales of mysterious 31s i heard

  5. I don't play UU but investing ~200 Hp and Spd, rest in Atk for an offensive oriented set looks weird to me...if you wanna deal good damages just go full Atk and either speed creep+hp, only speed or only hp depending on what kind of attacker you want ( bulky fast etc ), if on the other hand you want a more support oriented set you don't go with Sub+3 Attacks....just my opinion...

Anything else worth outspeeding in uu?

edit: max speed seems to be the best thing considering how popular it is in uu and the use i had in mind.

  6. Just got this adamant 31 speed and hp kanga, mainly just to say i have that.

Wanted to ev it according to the current uu standards while still having the chance to possibly use it in ou sometimes (i guess).

Probably a sub set, but a cband set would be cool too; just not subversal.

My main problem is figuring out how much speed it needs since i don't play uu.

I'll max att for sure, that's all i know.

  7. After another hour+ cause I was bored and I just wanted to keep trying this is all I got

    hyper potion x2
    super potion x1
    hard stone x4
    super repel x1
    ultra ball x1
    black belt x2
    thick club x2

I got less items but I got more useful items (just a tiny little bit)

yeah pretty close man, my luck sucks with this and shards and everything in general e.e

EDIT: So I did this to find thick clubs to teach double-edge to three pokemons and after 2 hours I can only teach Double-Edge to one for me this sucks badly

/whisper munya 2 thick clubs please
