Depends on how much capital you ready to put on the table. In PvP, not just the hidden abilities but natures and IVs play a major role. Breeding alphas just for the sake of PvP would not be just unnecessary but expensive too, as you need both the parents to be an Alpha to pass down the attribute. For sell I suppose, everything has a specific demand. 3xIV or 4xIV natured is a good niche for a beginner, as they are relatively cheap to breed and you got loads of other competitive players buying to further breed them.

I got a Dragonair with hidden ability (Marvel Scale), so if I were to evolve it, would it retain the same hidden ability or change it's hidden ability to that of a Dragonite(Multi scale)?

Pretty much aware of the fact that if I were to breed an Alpha with a non-Alpha the resulting egg wouldn't have the traits of an Alpha. The question is that, will I atleast get a chance to pass on the hidden ability using a Prismatic pearl? Really confused ;-;
