Secret Santa 2023 For those unfamilliar, secret santa is a fun tradition in which you give a gift to a random stranger, and you receive a random gift from a stranger in return. Date: Wednesday 20th December (Send me the gift before Saturday 16th December) Rules: 1: There is a minimum money requirement of 300k in game (to prevent gifting a single potion etc.) 2: You can only gift items or pokemon (do keep in mind that if you gift one of your own mons, it wont be very secret anymore, but thats okay ) How to participate: All you have to do is send me a mail with the gift in game before December 16th, and you'll receive your gift on the 20th (My IGN in magnusgoks). Just be sure to specify that its for secret santa. I'll use a randomizer to pair 2 and 2 people up, then I'll send the gifts out.

??? That makes 0 sense. Think about the time you'd have to invest into getting a shiny. On avarage, before you'd need between 30-60 hours on avarage to get a shiny 50% horde mon. Now you need to throw 150 hours per shiny into the game (on avarage). Dont you see how hostile that is towards players who cant throw 18 hours a day into shunting?

Kinda hate it. It ruins the game completely for those who havent gotten the shinies already.

I've been dreaming of getting a shiny dratini since I started playing this game. So when Johto came out, I've done nothing but shunt in dragons den. If you dont know, the devs changed dragons den horde odds to 20% dratini, 80% magikarp. Im a pretty avid shiny hunter, with approx. 1500 hours in the game, but havent had the time to shunt much the past couple months for IRL reasons, thus I only have around 120k encounters in dragons den (I've phased 3 times for dratini), which is fine. Odds are odds, im a little unlucky and I can deal with that, but I feel like this is an extremely unwarranted change . Why change it after only 2 months? Please revert the changes.

So a little backstory. I was streaming some shiny hunting in Mt. Ember, and one of my viewers asked if I wanted to join his shiny charm, so I did. The viewer then came to my location, and started shunting with me. After about 30 minutes he messaged me in twitch chat saying he got a shiny Slugma, so I spectated him and saw him catch it.
