  1. I was hesitant to post here, (just want to note this might not be entirely accurate/viable) but snow just buffed any ice type especially on the lower tiers whether you're using it offensively or defensively. Pilowswine living a CC in snow from a blaziken is quite interesting, this is just my analysis from theorycrafting but being able to take advantage of evasion/speed while setting up or living a +1 scrafty drain punch with vani specs is quite interesting & LC looks rather fun once the bugs are fixed πŸ™‚ While this is just on paper, i'm sure any good player would take that into consideration when building, especially now that we have quite alot of buffs to mons already stated. From this: 252+ Atk Blaziken Close Combat vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Eviolite Piloswine: 170-204 (82.1 - 98.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO To this: 252+ Atk Blaziken Close Combat vs. 252 HP / 0 Def Eviolite Piloswine in Snow: 116-138 (56 - 66.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO +1 252 Atk Scrafty Drain Punch vs. 4 HP / 0 Def Vanilluxe in Snow: 218-260 (76.7 - 91.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO And while i'm at it, cooked up a pretty heat team if anyone wants to try it. https://pokepast.es/0699e0c39ba9e92b
  2. If that works for your team being purely offensive then go for it im sure theres a minority out there that would run it. Just on paper it seems mickey mouse compared to the other sets.
  3. Surely you're trolling me, Earth power invites anything with levitate or ground immunity in, flamethrower for the steel types that poison doesn't hit or not very effective and as previously mentioned, one of the two dependant on what the team needs most + either moonlight/rocks or spikes. While sludge wave hits over 60% of the meta freely.
  4. Why in the world would you give up STAB that hits majority of the meta with no problem for tbolt & ice beam doing essentially the same. Its not 1v6 bro.
  5. Damn that's some talent, goated skills! 🀌
  6. Y'all really went yeeeeeeet, there's way to many mons dropping or moving up that will affect meta severely
  7. IGN: xGula Preferred Tiers: OU/Showdown Competitive Accolades: - Discord Contact: Lone&TamedWolf#5842 Fluff: - Preferred Potential Manager: Doesnt matter
  8. Buff knock off honestly, give us access to flip turn/ or draco on hydrei/SD on chomp and even triple axel, remove arena trap and add viable legends people can use and not have awkward teambuilding as well like tran, dos & lando-t. Safety goggles hardly scratch the surface of being useful, if we are adding items like that throw in weakness policy too.
  9. And now we have shaymin, locked behind hours of tedious pve content. Is this only testing grounds, can we expect it to be harder for others in future?
  10. Who decided this kind of sick joke to allow gen 9 recovery nerf without giving any community discussion nor tc vote into this? We don't have the tools or updated movepools to even countermeasure for this. Just spam screens & hazard stacking teams packed with para or flinch chance because we don't have many unaware pokemon, heavy duty boots, knock off buff update nor a legitimate regen core excluding legends/megas/z items etc, did you even consider how it would affect the meta as a whole? I trust TC completely voted against this in the majority & i'm certain nearly everyone that isnt a casual npc player that has a reliable and sufficent knowledge of the competitive scene would know how it affects the meta and wouldn't agreed to this without preparing some small steps to ensure its fine to do so, why would you do that staff? I hope this can be used as a place to discuss and reach out to have immediate changes, just absurd and possibly the most left in the dark change done in quite some time.
