Beg pardon, I didn't phrase my last post well. It's not that I think 1k is unreasonable, you can go out and earn it in literally one or two minutes in the end-game, but day after day it adds up somewhat quickly, and might discourage some players (especially new ones, who are the ones who need this most IMO) from buying it. I know small details like this are always open to change when/if the idea actually gets implemented, I just thought I'd put my two cents in. Edit: I still didn't word that well... It's not unreasonable, but it might make some people who would use it, not use it, and I feel like this is could be really beneficial to the point that as many people as possible who aren't on the forums should want to use it.

Love this idea! Particularly pleased with the "Can't get an egg?" part. +10 For helpfulness and originality. That being said, I don't see anyone wanting to drop even 1k on a newspaper. Some players (me) hardly care enough to carry 1k on us. I think the price could be adjusted to 1k for a one-time purchase, or 500 a day for a subscription, but maybe I'm just a dead beat. xD

+1, not just because WishBliss+Skarm ruins my day. Due to the item clause, I usually end up sticking at least one type item in my team anyway, the difference being right now I hate doing that, because it feels almost useless. I should want to use a magnet because it's good, not be forced to use a magnet because all the good items are in use on that team. [spoiler] That being said, I'd much rather see the choice band get added, this would be cool but that would be cooler, just sayin'. [/spoiler]

Spent two days catching and testing mankey to breed with a makuhita, finally got a good one and realized mankey is obviously not humanlike.

This is pretty appealing, but at the same time what you're suggesting sounds pretty similar to team chat. I know it's not exactly the same, but they do kinda accomplish the same thing. I'll +1 this, 'cause I don't like people, but I also think it could go on the waiting list for quite some time.

It's possible PokeMMO is made up of a bunch of super-brave geniuses who are never mean and don't live next to kitchens. I noticed Slytherin is pretty under-staffed too, so I can also be all about picking on hufflepuffs. I'll leave that up to Lilly, but I really feel like one of the two needs some extra love.

I can't help but notice there's a serious lack of huffle-ing and puffle-ing in this school. Didn't test into it, but I'm all about hard work, loyalty, and living right next to the kitchens.

It's depressing to have to say this, but you were all right. After beta testing it this weekend I'm pretty disappointed. I do feel like they're close though, like, they had the right idea, and just went the wrong way with it. Pros: One of the only MMOs I've played where standard melee combat isn't just left click, (I'm not an MMO veteran by any means) which I really appreciated at first I don't have to walk for five hours to get somewhere for the first time like the console games On high settings, the graphics are godly, like 32 in all IVs and a fifth move ... But that's pretty much all I can say for it. Combat still gets dull and repetitive fast, there's almost no variation required when fighting the different types of enemies, and they really don't present a challenge. The loot system is crap compared to the originals'. The story is good, but they don't tell it in a way that's interesting to me. Quests don't feel like I'm accomplishing anything. Perks feel fairly insignificant and forced until you're at least level 10. If there's a free-trial option for the official release, I'll give it another chance, but I'm not nearly as excited as I was two days ago. tl;dr, 5/10

[spoiler] I know there's an MMO thread, but it hasn't been posted in since May, so I feel like I'm justified in making this [/spoiler] For those of you who don't know, ESO has been given an official release date (on PC/Mac, no word on consoles yet) of April 4th. I, for one, haven't been this excited since I was like 12 reading about Kingdom Hearts 2, and intend to lord over all the other players as Emperor at least once. Is anyone else with me on this? If so, who all is planning to play, and what character type might you be? I think it would be pretty sweet to lay waste with a clan of other pokemmo-ers.

Spiders grind my gears. I mean just look at them. Freakish little devils with entirely too many legs, watching you hungrily with entirely too many eyes, just waiting for you to fall asleep so they can crawl in your ear and lay entirely too many eggs. Also I would like to talk about the fact that they make sticky prisons, some of which are harder than most metals, wrap their food up like a mummy until they decide they're hungry, and then juice it like an orange. People tell me Spiders of more afraid of me than I am of them. No. Nononononononono.

Playing custom Amnesia maps for hours one night, totally forgot the rest of the world existed. My friend tapped on my bedroom window, and I swear they could hear me yell as far as the Johto region.
