  1. What if you are breeding two things of the same species and it can learn the move but you dont want it to?
  2. I don't think it's a hard thing to implement, and it would help a lot with females now passing moves to babies. Reason being, if you buy a female pokemon from someone to breed and you breed it with a male in the same egg group. It would be helpful to just delete the moves off the male that you don't want so that the moves from the female would be passed. It may also slightly balance the economy because TM's would be even more in demand because we could delete them off of the males when we breed.

  4. That makes sense, but what do you think about it if ladder pokes had a slightly higher chance of having better stats?
  5. When you create a character you can choose it to be Ladder or Non-Ladder. Ladder gets some bonuses, but the ladder resets every few months. It keeps the game fresh, but it is optional for those who do not like change. At the end of the Ladder season, Ladder characters are all converted to Non-Ladder and Ladder season starts over from scratch. The Ladder Specific pokemon/items would then be available on Non-Ladder and add a slightly refreshing feel to that. For a few seasons the ladder specific pokemon would be pretty rare on non-ladder, and then after a few seasons more pokemon would be added. This is completely different from pokemon showdown.

One thing that I think will be a problem for this game is that soon there will be too many "godly" pokemon and the game will get kind of boring for some, while others like it this way, since it makes competitive more balanced. Diablo 2's system had it so you could choose Ladder or Non-Ladder when you make a character Ladder had a few bonuses like ladder specific items. Ladder and non-ladder characters can not interact with each other. We could have pokemon that are only obtainable and breedable in ladder mode. This effected the game in a few ways. For one, when the ladder characters become non-ladder at the end of the season, it added a fresh supply of those items to the non-ladder side of it. Items in non-ladder were usually a lot easier to get because most of the items were accumulated over a long time. When the ladder resets, it would give a fresh start to those who want it. But they also don't lose their ladder characters that got moved to non-ladder. A few suggestions to add to ladder mode: - Pokemon that can only be found/bred on ladder mode. (When ladder resets they would be added to non-ladder, and be rarer there) - Increased story mode difficulty? - Slightly higher shiny chance at beginning of ladder. - Slightly higher chance to get good IV pokemon at beginning of ladder. - Increase chance everstone will pass nature - Organized tournaments with high end prizes (have them on non-ladder too, but not as frequently) - Anyone else have any good ideas to add to it? I may have explained it bad, if anyone played diablo 2 and wants to add to this please do. I feel like it would be a great addition.   9. this isnt an auction house, its a set store, with set prices, that each player can have of their own.
  10. I think a cool alternative to trade chat would be an extra box each player gets that they could put pokemon they want to sell, with a price. Any other player could look at their store and purchase pokemon from the store for whatever the store owner put the price as. Trade chat would be not nearly as hectic because you could just link one pokemon advertising your store, or post it on the forums. Players should also be able to put a "?" for price so that they could negotiate certain ones. Just a little idea that i think would be really cool
  11. I think it would be better if eggs hatched once you got all 7 flags done for it. While getting the flags you play the game, even if what you're doing is boring, but after that you literally do nothing but wait and it is excruciatingly boring.
  12. Just make vitamins untradeable and only work on OT pokemon, it would make it slightly easier to ev train your own pokes. BOOM GENIUS

Whatever you do, dont lower the max IV's a poke can have (252 -> 126) not everyone maxes the stats and it would be annoying to deal with when doing custom ev spreads, such as 16/200/120/172 ttar, it would be a lot simpler to just double the EV's you get with the EXACT SAME result, without confusing new players / people bad at math.
  14.     Also, people would just test to find out which HP they have, and if its good use a star piece. If you know you have HP Poison, why would you pay to have it confirmed?
  15. I think it would be cool to have a calculator for PokeMMO breeding since the mechanics are different from any other game. You could enter the IV Range of the parents, and it would give you the possible IV Ranges for each of the babies (by taking the average, which is easy) stats (assuming it isnt directly inherited). Also it would tell you what moves pass down, since both parents can pass down egg moves now. It gets confusing when a there's a possible 8 moves. It would also take out the questions you get in in-game chat about "why do my babies suck?"
  16. I say keep the timer but remove the 1 egg cap. Maybe 3 eggs would be a fair amount
