Any help with hex editing to increase shiny rates? Can't find where the value to edit is with this patched.

I get a black screen after the starting text but before the professor Oak intro using VBA-M version 2.1.6. Funny thing is that it "worked" on VBA-M version 2.14, but had the save issue and the fix from the read-me didn't work.
