1. For the first one there is nothing more to add. The question was fully answered. Nothing happens to your accounts if you go inactive for a long time.

With the second thread zero discussion is going to take place. A few discussions come out of complaint threads but that depends upon the complaints. With the discussion geared towards reverting changes back to the old way it is quite clear that the discussion was going nowhere and closed with the answer given.

With the third thread the activity is irrelevant. The player asked for tips and was given tips. Once the question had been answered the derailment began. At that point it was closed due to the discussion being over. Having it open longer would have facilitated more derailment of the thread.

If there is nothing more to add let the thread die of inactivity, if there is spamming going on then that's when you come in.

Poor wording is irrelevant to me. I constantly see complain threads staying on, even when they are just fighting and that's fine.

I don't think it's on that point yet, I think it could live longer.

Let's just say that I don't agree with neither of your approaches.

Unless I have either completely misunderstood the purpose of this forum, or rather you have missused the word "forum".

  2. For the first one the answer is satisfactory. It corrected misinformation given in an earlier post and directly answered the question.

For the second one the player wanted recent ecnomic changes reverted which is not going to happen. Discussion on alternatives to that should take place in Suggestion Box.

For the third one it was locked due to there being nothing more to say on the topic at all.

But still, the point is that if I wanted to add what I said I wouldn't be able to because the thread is locked. (I wouldn't but I'm just saying) Which is relevant to the topic information.

Seems like more of a complain than a suggestion to me. He wanted to discuss his complains which is, I believe, the purpose of this section(discussion)

It was a pretty active thread so I'd argue with it. I agree there nothing very specific to be said about the topic but why close the discussion of personal experience of players with shiny encounters?

  3. https://forums.pokemmo.eu/index.php?/topic/63448-what-happens-if-you-become-inactive-for-a-while/(the answer is not satisfactory, that hasn't been the case in the past)

https://forums.pokemmo.eu/index.php?/topic/63454-bad-updates/(i don't know why this was locked, maybe needs cleaning)

https://forums.pokemmo.eu/index.php?/topic/63260-shiny-tips/page-3(nothing wrong with that either, maybe needs cleaning)

Btw, me too can't see the point of locking answered questions. If you feel a thread is derailed you should delete a couple of posts and/or post a warning message(reminder). In most well established, big forums the moderation is not proactive but rather active, you act when there is a problem.

  4. The administrations of the PokeMMO have access to our chatlogs if they so wish.

From the Privacy Policy of PokeMMO: "PokeMMO may store all communications exchanged between You and any other person while using the Game's Services. This not only includes "public" messages, but also includes all messages exchanged in private using our Services." So the moderators are able to reach our chatlogs if the admins so wish. As I have understood it only GMs and higher are able to do this, but yes by playing this game you do accept the fact they can monitor your private chatlogs.

Therefor there's no need for screenshots or stories because they can read our chatlogs if they so wish. What comes to your argument about shinies and Skype and whatnot, that falls to the part of not being able to prove one being guilty of scamming if there is nothing in game chatlogs that refers to any goods being scammed.

I have no doubt that an administrator can access those without reading the privacy policy and I don't think that moderators(cms whatever you call it, people that don't have administrative rights) have access.

Are the "i lost my shiny pls ban" kind of requests being handled by admins?

  5. You don't need to hear the stories of anyone, no one should get punished based on a story someone told but to be punished on the evidence you have from logs. All it really takes to prove someone is scamming when they're providing someone something else they have said it in the chatlogs, for example. No one obviously should get punished unless it's evident beyond reasonable doubt that someone did something dishonest towards anyone. No one wants anyone to get punished due to bogus reports, I honestly wouldn't care if you didn't catch a single case where it's evident beyond reasonable doubt that someone scammed. Only the matter that you do not allow it is what this mainly is about.

Chatlogs? So you are suggesting that they not only keep logs of whispers but they are available to moderators as well?

That's a huge fucking privacy hole. It's not clear if you are referring to that exactly but I hope no one thinks like that.

The problem with this situation is the lack of reliable evidence. Screenshots are not. Stories are not.

And another thing is that communication can be done outside the game, lets say that i want to get someone banned, i can contact him in real life (no evidence whatsoever, skype call etc) and tell him that i will give him for free a shiny. Then claim that i lend him my shiny but wont give it back.

  6. Actually, that's a big thing that no ones complains about (in comparison with the constant b.ichting(fuck your filters) about random crap). There are many things that are not mentioned in the changelog and should, in detail.

For example, why isn't the list of added battle animations in the changelog? Where am I supposed to know what exactly changed?

Why isn't the tweaking of berry mechanics in the changelog?

I'm not talking about certain info that could be exploitable and such, but the tweaking of the game should be mentioned in the changelog. Hypothetical scenario, let's say you decrease the shiny rate by a certain amount, you don't have to mention the amount if you don't want to but you need to mention that encounter rate was decreased.

    And many many more.

  7. How much experience as a game designer do you have? Have you worked on any other games? Have you gone to college for it? Do you even like game design? Do you even like this game? Why do you hate us?

Literally all irrelevant for the game and forum, send him a pm or something if you really want to know.

  8. There's no actual reward really from completing your pokedex, at least not in the gen 1-3 games. They're basically like "wow you got all the pokemon, good job loser" then you don't get anything else, so implementing legendaries for just this isn't really worth doing.

I remember doing that on my leaf green. You get a star on your trainer card and it changes color.

If I remember correctly the celadon guy only needs the first 150.

  9. What are you talking about? How are signatures bad? Just because you don't like them it still doesn't effect you negatively. Just because you are sad and have nothing better to do stop being a uguu and trying to ruin other peoples fun.

You imply so much things you seem like you are living in your own world. To be honest, you seem happy there so I don't want to spoil it.

  10. Just because you dont have a nice signature and don't get likes doesn't mean it should be removed.
btw like counter isn't reverted back
I haven't see any nice signature in this forum. Only ms-paint level of image manipulation and generic crap. That's not even why I don't like signatures.
It's offtopic but if you have seen likes have any value or add up to anything i would be interested to see some examples. Only way i've seen this system to be used is to like your friends posts.

Oh, I missread, I thought they removed the whole like system.

  11. Currently there isn't a real reason to train pokemon to 100lvl, it doesn't give you any edge over anything, it basically gives you nothing in end game. It's only preference that only possibly limits your options for Battle frontier.

Since you are nerfing so hard the daycare there isn't a good way of obtaining exp. In my opinion, level is not a stat that needs balancing but I can understand it being cheap up until now.

Can you at least buff Elite four as a source of exp?

Either decrease the cooldown (or remove it), or add a payout from the battles. I personally prefer the removal of its cooldown.

My view on it: If you remove the cooldown you are making elite four a good exp source because the exp you can gain from it in one hour is way more than what you get in one hour of island farming but you lose on cash. If you add some cash it can possibly compete with the island farming exp gains while you still lose cash.

Right now Elite four is completely useless either way.

Another thing that you possibly want to address with this change is leveling to 50. If this is the intention then maybe instead of nerfing the price per lvl why don't you nerf the price of exchanging with the daycare per pokemon which is only 100?

    Some personal experience:
60-70lvls each pokemon, for 3 pokemon =180K-210K in a span of 4-5 days for a useless stat.

It makes daycare unusable for exp farming while the only way of obtaining exp, worth doing, is islands which will take forever if you want to train many pokemon.

-In a case of a tie in any other time the post that is first is the current best offer.

-Don't edit your posts if you don't absolutely have to, because it creates a mess. Also, the time of biding of edited posts is not the time posted but the time edited.

-You are responsible of finding the current best offer.

-Make it clear for what pokemon you are biding.

-If you don't follow the instructions your bid is invalid.

If you have an offer for the rest of comps while the auction is ongoing please send it to me via pm.

  13. Well I believe it did, or at least I hope it did. Subsequent discussion in the form of these posts have helped you to grasp what each tier, and now what each banlist, is. If you have any further questions feel free to pm "Senile"

You just said it didn't help me. Basic logic is a complex concept, it seems.

  14. I mean, in all honesty this thread was created for those that are less knowledgeable about how the tiers work. Milluki, or "literallywho", is a perfect example of this, even despite a very clear post there is still confusion. It's a tough concept to grasp for someone that knows nothing.

And apparently your thread didn't help, so...
