I'm not sure of the actual requirements or of any tests done on low end machines by devs, but I can tell you that I have multiple friends with really old computers and they had no problem playing the PTS client both times. I don't have any older machines to test myself, but on 2 of my laptops and my desktop the new client (for gen 5) seemed to run WAY better than the current one. It's much faster, more responsive and felt generally smoother.
@XelaKebert has a post here with the original system requirements and I feel like the gen 5 client wouldn't be very much more than that, if anything at all.
@Desu could probably answer this definitively.
do you have an idea of how old their computers are? Or maybe can you ask them for their specs? Please!

Hello, I quit the game sometime ago for various reasons, but wanted to play again when I heard gen 5 was planned, and got sad cause my pc can barely run DS games with an emulator. However, since I might get a new PC soon, I'm wondering if I'll be able to run it.. any clues on what specs would be good enough to run the game smoothly?

Its... alright, I had some great fun with 40 HP Ragnaros the Firelord in wild, I crafted Elise the Trailblazer, which already saved me a few games and Unite the Murlocs, which I couldn't have much fun with yet, either for bad luck or just because I'm bad. Btw, someone here is laddering on wild this month? I wanted to make it to rank 5 with this Midrange Hunter (made it to rank 7 so far)

On one hand I think renolock is a very interesting deck. On the other, I am a bit sad that there are cards that encourage the inconsistency of a no-dupe deck.
Pirates are broken. If you counter them, you lose to everything else.
Jade decks are alright, pretty slow though. Miracle Rogue is a better deck than Jade. For Shaman, remains to be seen, I prefer the non-jade aggro. And for Druid, the yogg nerf hit it hard, and it never seemed to have any consistent decks since.
Is dirty rat really worth crafting through? I'm playing him because i got it out of a pack

After you get to level 70-ish leveling up gets incredibly boring, is there somehow to purchase rare candies quickly? there was a guy at Slateport that sold them but is it worth it?
