Tbh, it'd take too much work for this to be implemented so only players can ruin it. If you can't see the flaw in this, try thinking how the new gym leaders will be established each and every time someone takes over. It'd take too much time on players just organizing their gym or whatever, and we all know most people wouldn't do that? And even if they did, by some miracle, I can see them a week later dissapointed once their gym has been taken over by someone else and are like "But I put too much work into this shit". Sorry, as cool as it would be, I don't really see how this would be implemented.

Yeah, and you do have to take in account players are getting tired of grinding for money anyway. First example would be the reason for this suggestion. Don't get me wrong, nobody wants to grind, but I really don't like seeing threads like these being approved just because the main reason is being lazy
