  1. The key here is to find 6x31 parents and sacrifice them to make perfect 6x31 offspring for as long as you want considering the IVs are now averaged. Do work guys. Do work and make us proud.

Both parents would have to be 6x31 or with some 30's in there to match the 31's depending on how halves are rounded. (and you would lose 2 for one) Would like some confirmation on that from somebody in power please

  2. you lose 2 breeders for every egg, I'd say the precise number is pretty important).

Digging this back up because since you gain one breeder for every two you spend, you are in reality only losing one breeder. and in return, if done correctly or with a little bit of luck depending on how you go about it, a superior breeder

  3. I'll overlook the fact that you're digging up something which has been completely put to rest. I mean hell, darkshade replied immediately saying Noad would be happy to include all the relevant information, but she posted that to get the results out there quickly for us to see.

Anyways, what she left out is the amount of time it takes to narrow a baby's IVs and thus get them ready for the next breed. She admitted to power-leveling them to 100, and she admitted that in reality, it takes longer to narrow IVs (by her admission, about 20-25 minutes). Since the experiment is to determine the average "cost" of creating a comp, and because time spent is part of what you pay when you create a comp, this is important information. (As is the exact number of eggs it took her - notice she said "3 or 4, I don't remember." When you lose 2 breeders for every egg, I'd say the precise number is pretty important).

However, I'm sure noad took my feedback into account, and for her next update will include everything we need to really analyze the new system.

    Does that satisfy your curiosity?

her admission to what it typically takes her to narrow was also probably assuming the old system where iv's could range from -/+ of the average of the iv's or whatever, as stated with only 3 possible outcomes in any iv now that process would be significantly quicker.

  4. Noad please go on with the experiment I usually spend less than 20 minutes to know the exact 6 ivs just by leveling up and training some evs. Of course you would have to multiply this by each time u get an egg and confirm the ivs of both parents since u need new ones each time

Narrowing the iv's of babies will take significantly less time since there are only 3 possibilities for each IV of the baby provided you know the exact IV's of both parents.  Sometimes less provided both parents have the same IV ina  particular stat

  5.

and even if so... what guarantys that they'll have good ivs? i can find dittos in cerulean cave quite often as well that doesn't change anything

Nowhere near as often in cerulean cave, you said they were a pain in the a, i was simply pointing out they will be significantly less of a pain.

  6. I don't just sit in viridian either, except I have nothing to ev train and breeding is disabled, I get that this does what the devs has had in mind. Just not fair to all the players, new players will make 1 comp in about 2-3months and our genderless pokemon are pretty much useless now.

Have you not read Noads post on how long it took them to make things?

  7. You hardly get online, you're just a forum lurker

I what?  Given I am a bit sick right now and have been getting a lot of sleep, I am on quite a bit, gained several hundreds of hours of playtime in the last few months actually, if not in the thousand already.  I actually play the game, I don't just sit in viridian

  8. it would be great having the actual breeding system in kanto and the other in hoenn, so ppl can choose which system will use, and hoenn system hatch sterile pokes (?

    that would fix litterally nothing
