(Hope this belongs here) Hello PokeMMO-ers! I just had a cute idea for a little christmas (event) addition in the game: [spoiler] ^See that empty, boring area in Vermillion city? You could make something awesome out of it, for a christmas Event. I think it’s the perfect place for that, since Vermillion is like the heart of Kanto. And I guess my suggestion would not need that much implementing-work (unlike the Halloween event, I can imagine) So here is my example: • Place a christmas tree in the middle of the square: just a regular tree or maybe a bigger one, customized with a star on top, fancy decoration and so on • Maybe put some snow textures around the tree • Dress the old man as Santa Claus, and Machop as his little helper: an elf • Make Santa say something like „Have you been a good trainer this year?“ or other Christmas-related texts • He will give every player a gift/gifts ( =items, etc.) on christmas eve • Or there could be gifts placed in front of the tree (like the pokeball-items, but shown as present/boxes)[/spoiler] I think it’s a really funny idea, and I wanted to share it here, so I would like to know what other players think about it. I also liked the halloween event a lot, and would start playing more again if there is one for end of the year as well (but it could be longer this time, like 1 week) Happy pre-Christmas Season to all! :D - Markani

I was pretty sure, as a kind of noob I had no chance to defeat Pumpking but I tried anyway... and won!!! Thanks to tips from the guide and players (and some items + lots of luck) It was an epic and really fun fight (for me) [spoiler]So I quickly put together a random Team: Dragonite (shell bell), Zangoose (quick claw), Persian (lax incense), Manectric (lum berry), Aerodactyl (blackglasses), Jolteon (magnet) - all Lv.100 except zang 1st stage: I used my dragonite, with 2x dragon dance and some fire punches, easy win 2nd: dragonite got killed and I used my joker zangoose (randomly found it in my pc, used because it had taunt), and luckily attacked first with taunt but my plan had flaws, zangoose had 3 useless normal-type attacks and I couldn't switch, damnit then I don't know exactly what happened after, but because pumpking used roar a lot, I got to use all my pokemon and each had the chance to make some damage, I used mostly flamethrower (manectric) thunder (manectric/jolteon) shadow ball (jolteon/persian) and killed him 3rd: So I heard that you should use toxic, but I forgot to bring the pokemon who had it ... great ok at beginning some of my pokemon got killed by superpower, and my persian used screech, so the def decreased a lot and I had the chance to weaken it with aerodactyl's crunch, before he used harvest then I attacked and attacked without much effect and was close to lose, but I used about 5-6 max revives that helped me live longer so then I managed to burn him with dragonite's fire punch, and I had luck that he was too dumb to use harvest again, and he always jumped up, so he kept losing hp because of the burn I only have the end text of the battle: YAY! =D[/spoiler]

I haven't played much in October, but when I saw that there is an update I decided to play again and it was a good choice! The candy collecting was really fun and the boss fight was hard but very challenging, how it should be. Thanks for the cool idea and implementation!!

When I started Hoenn this happened:

Before I started playing this game I didn't even know what Natures, EVs and IVs are/what they do. In the original games I never cared about them because my pokemon just had to be strong enough to beat the NPC's. ^^ I found it out after a while playing, but gave no attention to them, so I trained some ok IV-pokemon, but also some with very bad IVs.

Found my first shiny while I was looking for Mudkips on Route 120, caught on 11.08.2015

I failed to catch the Sudowoodo on Battlefrontier (it killed itself at low HP by using double-edge :() So I wanted to ask, will there be another chance to catch it in the game? Thanks

Bulbasaur, because I wanted Arcanine as fire- and Gyarados as water-type pokemon in my team

I just wish for the features in Hoenn that aren't implented yet, like trick master, berry planting, pokeblocks, contest hall, etc. and bugfixes of course

Hi, I found this game by coincidence few days ago and thought I should try it out; And it is very nice. ^_^ I've played many of the original pokemon games in the past, but always in german language, so this is all kinda new for me (english names of pokemon/attacks/items/etc.) See ya
