  1. I genuinely doubt it will be UU but that probably guarantees it won't be Uber.
  2. He may not get it on release, HAs may take a while to implement

Question to the devs: How will you handle inter-gen TMs? Some TMs from gen3 become tutor moves in gen5 and tutors are only in BW2. If I want to teach Giga Drain to a gen5 mon will I be able to do so with a gen3 TM or will i be screwed?
  4. Considering this method has its flaws due to the inclusion of fairy type, steel nerf and other minor changes if anyone here knows how to code you could make your own custom showdown server. https://github.com/Zarel/Pokemon-Showdown-Client https://github.com/Zarel/Pokemon-Showdown https://github.com/Zarel/Pokemon-Showdown-Dex https://github.com/Zarel/Pokemon-Showdown/commits/master
  5. Both Azus are aids Also I just realized the only OU viable Pokemon with actual access to Stealth Rock are Mamoswine, Ferrothorn and Forretress since the others get it through tutor
  6. Yeah but nowhere near as common as Prankster Sableye or Mandibuzz, still worth mentioning though, so good catch.
  7. The only thing that hard walls Reuniclus is Sableye with Mandibuzz being also a great switch in.
  8. This is a pokemon that was suspected for being pretty hard to stop.
  9. Reuniclus is one of the few special pokemon that can set up on Chansey without worrying about Toxic, Seismic Toss and Thunder Wave and doesn't give free turns like resttalk jolteon memes.
  10. He isn't exactly a wall but under sandstorm he does technically have 159 base spdef if uninvested
  11. Chansey continues to be the best special wall in the game to this day followed by Blissey. Then after that Mantine would probably follow now that it gets roost
  12. The problem with Mence is that it has 0 counters much like Hydreigon and Excadrill (Though Exc is fairly more obvious about its sets and weaknesses). They always have a set to deal with their most common checks. And speaking of which you mentioned yesterday that you didn't think Azumarill was banworthy, which left me thinking about it, however the only counter I can think of is Jellicent, since once Belly Drum's novelty fades away, people will mix it up with stuff like Choice Band, and with Ice Punch, Return and Superpower it can deal a ton of damage to anything that can normally switch into it meaning you have to risk saccing a pokemon, risk it setting up belly drum or risk your switch in. 252+ Atk Choice Band Huge Power Azumarill Return vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Rotom-Wash: 139-164 (45.8 - 54.1%) -- 96.1% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery 252+ Atk Choice Band Huge Power Azumarill Superpower vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Rotom-Wash: 164-193 (54.1 - 63.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery 252+ Atk Choice Band Huge Power Azumarill Superpower vs. 252 HP / 48+ Def Ferrothorn: 330-390 (93.7 - 110.7%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock 252+ Atk Choice Band Huge Power Azumarill Superpower vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Ferrothorn: 284-336 (80.6 - 95.4%) -- 12.5% chance to OHKO after Stealth Rock 252+ Atk Choice Band Huge Power Azumarill Return vs. 252 HP / 88 Def Amoonguss: 242-285 (56 - 65.9%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Black Sludge recovery 252+ Atk Choice Band Huge Power Azumarill Ice Punch vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Amoonguss: 270-318 (62.5 - 73.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Black Sludge recovery 252+ Atk Choice Band Huge Power Azumarill Waterfall vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Quagsire: 190-225 (48.2 - 57.1%) -- 91.8% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery Then the alternative is letting it kill something and Revenge kill it with something faster that can resist Aqua Jet but even then you'll take upwards of 60% damage in most cases +6 252+ Atk Huge Power Azumarill Aqua Jet vs. 72 HP / 4 Def Venusaur: 184-217 (57.6 - 68%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock And hell in some cases they won't even be able to RK back without taking two Aqua Jets (assuming Azu is Sitrus and it's still at 75% and has some hp investment) 252 Atk Salamence Outrage vs. 212 HP / 0 Def Azumarill: 243-286 (61.6 - 72.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO +5 252+ Atk Huge Power Azumarill Aqua Jet vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Salamence: 167-197 (50.4 - 59.5%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock I've yet to conduct a more throughout analysis of this so I may be missing some obvious checks (Skarm can WW away assuming sturdy is intact but still loses 99% of its health to BD superpower and 48% to CB Waterfall). But meanwhile the only way Azu can damage Jellicent is +6 252+ Atk Huge Power Azumarill Ice Punch vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Jellicent: 178-210 (44.1 - 52.1%) -- 77.7% chance to 2HKO after Stealth Rock and Leftovers recovery +6 252+ Atk Huge Power Azumarill Knock Off vs. 248 HP / 252+ Def Jellicent: 192-226 (47.6 - 56%) -- guaranteed 2HKO after Stealth Rock But a turn later it should be suffering some serious burns (if WoW doesn't miss). But yeah I'm actually curious about why you think it isn't banworthy.
  13. For the record. +3 0 SpA Reuniclus Psyshock vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Chansey: 345-406 (49 - 57.6%) -- 96.1% chance to 2HKO
  14. If Baton Pass gets unbanned in a meta where it's much more deadly with Scolipede, Magic Bounce Espeon and moves like Quiver Dance being introduced then I'll probably die of laughter.
  15. yes, it did in PTS Snorlax may be used since there's not that many legendaries to fill OU slots, Blissey can run Shed Shell over Chansey for the inevitable Dugtrio wars.
  16. Dragon Dance Flygon will likely be implemented since MMO learnpools match gen7's (For example Gyarados learns Crunch here and in gen6 but it can't in any previous gen) Thanks for correcting me with Leaf Storm though.
  17. allow me to self suck for being right also Volcarona soon trapinch is natured
  18. The good news if you dislike facing those Pokemon is that gen5 was pretty much Fighting type's best generation, and while we'll be missing 4 very key fighting type legendaries introduced that gen Conkeldurr alone will carry that weight really well and he'll likely be very common on many teams. You may see the previous ubermons really often on week 1 of release because people will have yet to breed the newer mons but sooner or later it should balance out.
  19. Chansey has the privilege of being a defensive Pokemon, offensive threats will be banned first. If Duggy is allowed though, Chansey may not be so bad. Though Dug stall is worrying as always.
  20. Personally I feel like the meta being gradually updated over time is good to avoid stagnation. I assume some of the quickbans are gonna be stuff like Azumarill and Garchomp but everything else taking a while to tier will make the meta more dynamic.
  21. Personally I'm more worried about Belly Drum Azumarill, Chomp will definitely be banned though.
  22. Yeah I meant to say almost as physically bulky sorry 252+ Atk Manaphy Waterfall vs. 4 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Chansey: 82-97 (25.1 - 29.7%) -- guaranteed 4HKO 252+ Atk Manaphy Waterfall vs. 240 HP / 252+ Def Swampert: 49-58 (23.9 - 28.2%) -- possible 5HKO after Leftovers recovery

I know, but eventually in the future I wanted to know how they planned to implement them. I'd hate to breed a Froslass on release just to find out I'll have to rebreed her to get Cursed Body.

@Desu quick question that will likely annoy you since it's pretty far into the future. Will Hidden Abilities be implemented through consumables like the Ability Capsule or will we have to rebreed shit with stuff like wilds having HAs?
