  1. Thankyou! :3 Threatening yes, not in a "I'm going to punch you" way, in a "I know my Pokemon are good, I've already won" sort of look =P Or a "I'm more than ready for this battle"
  2. Here is my old one; I made it when I was around 14, but I don't think my specifications will have changed much. Same hair, long and black, with red tips, my fringe or 'bangs' goes down the side of my face just next to my eye. Jacket wise; This hoodie (With the wings on the back) But the hood down. :3 And black jeans. Oh yes - and a red top underneath the hoodie. I still need that element of the colour red in there also, so if you have any ideas for that, it'd be great. Last thing (I think) An obnoxious Pose, similarly obnoxious to Red's, maybe with a Pokeball in one hand. I think that's everything ~
  3. Exactly :3 The issue seems to be that people are impatient, but how is that any different from EV training? If you want the best, you need to work for it.
  4. Why would it? It would literally be the same as giving the Pokemon the items they already hold, just with a different ID. It may not be, I don't know. But, why does it matter? The devs can code it, so it's certainly possible. They could only be caught holding one of the two, so it doesn't take away from the canon.
  5. Agreed, I wanted to come up with an idea that would keep TM's in circulation but weren't instantly obtainable, thus needing you to do X to obtain one, and I think this one fits the MMO the best :3 Thankyou~ And yeah that would be cool, Scyther with secret power or something, but that would be torture xP! People have complained you have to spend money on Pokeballs to obtain the TM's, but there is always thief, and an RNG idea is no different from the RNG that already exists when capturing a Pokemon anyway. Most of pokemon is based on RNG.
  6. I can actually explain this. The picture above is the technical machine, supposedly every trainer has one, it's able to teach the TM's to a Pokemon, so following up on that, the idea is that it also has a small chance of taking one away from it's learnset (If we really need an explanation that is.) It wouldn't stop them learning the move at all, nor would it take it away if it already knew it, it's like making a copy. And I really don't think that making an alt account for getting TM's would be any easier with the amount of people playing, TM's would be very much available - in response to Dahaka. Back to you Othienka, whilst I agree a shop is an easy way to do it, it is as someone has said "A quick fix", whereas with this idea you are able to help the economy, help the community and increase socialization all in one. :) Also having trainers give you some TM's too (possibly) is a pretty neat idea. Right, Pokemon couldn't contain TM's via evolution. And I'm still not 100% on the breeding thing, I don't think they should be holding TM's on birth. I don't know how happy the devs would be to implement forever lasting TM's. Again, thief is a possibility. The percentage was in example, and me too! :3 I skimmed the thread yesterday and didn't see it, but that's probably my bad. And exactly I think that's why it would work too! :3 OP says "1-5%" but nothing is definite. Thankyou~ Exactly, that shouldn't change. That's what I was proposing :)
  7. Again that's debatable, and the percentage could also be edited to be whatever number. I wouldn't say it was complicated, but of course everyone is entitled to their opinion. I'm glad you hold nothing against it, and I must go now too, to sleep! ^^ Hope to read some replies when I wake up.~
  8. Thankyou, I live for creativity, it's what everything I do is based on - or at least try. It would likely take more effort to incorporate this, but the benefits outweight the tiny bit of extra effort. That's what I was trying to explain, mostly. Yes but you're saying "Give me that because I want it" And actually many TM's would be easier to obtain through this method. You could go to the effort making of a new account just to get X item, but with the amount of players playing the game it would be easier to trade for it from another player. And remember the Pokemon you catch could always hold TM's, so you could sell those to buy others, and there's always the VS seeker for more money.
  9. You and me both! :3 Editing a store onto the map, crosses the legal border a little, although most people would argue that you could just add them to Celadon Dept. But that doesn't really cover rarity issues or economy stability. Thankyou for your support! It's not editing the Pokemon drastically however, as most already hold items, you just add TM's onto it. Haha, that is true :)
  10. They would, exactly, it wouldn't take away on their current held items. And I don't know about disabling it in the game corner, see my above reply :) Sure it's a little bit harder, but basing the implementation of something on amount of effort alone isn't really a good reason not to, Pokemon hold lots of items already (or they will do) so adding TM's to that wouldn't be too hard. Agreed. Exactly, currently it is, but players shouldn't have to play through the storyline numerous times to obtain more TM's. Thankyou! Right~! But it wouldn't take away from the current held item percentages, it would just be added onto them. And that can't be too difficult.
  11. I'm glad, I understand it doesn't benefit the players as much as a TM store, but that's no different from asking for a shiny instantly, it's beneficial to the game. Whilst with a store you'd get the TM instantly, everybody would have every TM, and that would only ever require money, there's almost no point too it, and everyone would just go there straight away. I don't know where they keep coming from c: Exactly, it benefits everybody, and the game! And three birds?! Poor Moltres, Zapdos and Articuno ;-;, no but that's ironic. XD It's a possibility, I'm not sure whether it should be possible or not, if this idea ever happened, it would be down to the devs to decide, or we could have a discussion over it also. It wouldn't affect it in the least bit, you'd just add the TM having a chance of appearing as well, unless of course you wanted to lower the percentage to keep the rarity. But it would still be as rare. I don't know about upon defeat, but it's certainly a possibility, I wouldn't kind either way, just catching made more sense to me, as most items in Pokemon can be obtained via held items. I agree with you, but again, you could give Magmar the Flamethrower TM aswell, however - Magmar and Flamethrower were merely an example. I have replied to everyone, but I've reached max quotes, will post next reply.
  12. Technical Machine's, and how to make them obtainable. SDFFFFFFFFDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD As I'm sure many people have asked, will there ever be a way to obtain TM's without making alt accounts? Actually, the answer is already yes, but the method of doing so has never been officially announced, so this is my idea as to how it could work; An unlimited TM store! No, no!, TM's still need to have some sort of rarity, otherwise all they are really worth is money, with a store they'd hold no scarcity value. SDFFFFFFFFDDDDDDDDDDDDJJJDDDJJJJJJDDSo, what do you suggest? SDFFFFFFFFDDDDDDDDDDDDDJJJDDDDDD The picture doesn't quite explain it, so that's what I'm about to do, and then hopefully - it will make sense. Now that hold items are implemented, why don't we give each wild Pokemon a 1-5% of holding a TM in relation to their type, and a move that they could learn. (No the Pokemon would not physically hold the TM graphically.) This is where the above picture fits in, the situation it portrays is that the character has just caught a Horsea, and after viewing it's summary, he is able to see that it is holding TM3, Water Pulse. SDFFFFFFFFDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDJJJJDDDDDDD Horsea can be taught water Pulse via a TM, and Horsea is also water type. Water Pulse is also not a hugely desired TM, making Horsea one of the perfect Pokemon to house the distribution of the Water Pulse TM. The more desirable the TM is, the rarer the Pokemon that can hold it, for example; SDFFFFFFFFDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDJJJJDDD DDDD Magmar has a 5% chance of appearing in Mt.Ember, which will be made available in the near future. Being that Magmar is a rare Pokemon, a fire type, and can also learn Overheat - Having Magmar hold the Overheat TM would fit quite nicely. It's a very powerful TM, and should remain rare and wanted, keeping it's price higher than that of a less desirable TM. With giving TM's to Pokemon in type and rarity to level range, allows them to hold that scarcity value, and makes them available to all players without the need for creating a new account. This also encourages Pokemon farming, which allows people to obtain Pokemon with their desirable IV's and natures, and the cost of each TM (If they were to be traded via money) would also be down to the cost of Pokeballs too. This keeps trade chat active, and Pokemon trading, a rather important part of the community SDFFFFFFFFDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD The community would also put together it's own cost for each time via a Pokemon or something, which is very good for the MMO experience. It also means if you yourself are searching for a TM, but can't afford to trade someone for it, you have to work for it, instead of just visiting a store. There is of course - The move thief, which would save money on Pokeballs, however, if the devs did not want TM's to be taken from wild Pokemon using thief, they could simply make TM's unstealable. The idea also keeps the canon side of things, it doesn't require another store, or more items to be put into Celadon. It doesn't edit the game mechanics, and all TM's are linked to Pokemon of that type and can learn that move. Maybe I shall add to those post later, if anybody brings something up that needs to be addressed, I think I've written everything down, but I'm very tired, so there's always room for error. I think overall this idea adds to the PokeMMO experience, and takes nothing away from the game itself, and doesn't require anything to be added anywhere, as TM's would be available worldwide. -TM List- You have to keep in mind, that the above to Pokemon were examples, however, I have compiled an actual list of what Pokemon could realistically be holding the items; Let me know what you think. ~Darkshade
  13. To my knowledge that has something to do with monitor size display. Also as I ask all new spriters, I'm requesting a trainer sprite of myself if you have the time, I'm not sure what to give in return if you do, however.
  14. Which also clutters the screen that tiny bit, granted not a lot. But it's such a minor inconvenience.
  15. I don't see what's so difficult about pressing C.
  16. Moving this to tutorials.
  17. Full support of this, I'd love a borrow option.
  18. I most certainly agree, I'd like global to go back to the time where it wasn't used for questions only. Great! =D It would also include the places where each Pokemon are caught, a guide on EV's and IV's etc.
  19. It would include all of the above, and a walkthrough, and guides. :3 That way it covers everything~
  20. How do you force somebody to read something? Have it read out to them? But then what if you could also SHOW them at the same time?... oh yeah the Teachy TV. =P
  21. It wouldn't matter so much, it's essentially kind've the same rates, ish. XD That's the idea ^^
  22. It could be done, if you put my ips on first, then edited it to fit your sprites.
  23. Nice to see another person taking up the art of ROM editing :3 Very nice~ ^^
