when u loose to crobats use slowkings :3
i disagree because u determine ur own way of playing as the only one. completly destroying diversity in the meta, which isnt great at all at the moment but u guys want to go on because your straight forward tactics aren´t that successful against it.
Deal with it, maybe build ur own competive set arround confuseray?
Just no, dont clause, ban, ecetera everything when little kids cry. Its competive ...be so.
1. About determining your own way as the only one...what? That's exactly why there is a tier discussion thread accessible to everybody and a tier council made of different people.
2. You say everybody should use slowking to counter confusion and then you say banning or "clauseing" it would destroy diversity...lol
3. "It's competitive...be so." Best reason ever

you are wrong. go read this
specifically on the definitions of uber and counters.
A Pokémon is uber if, in common battle conditions, it is capable of sweeping through a significant portion of teams in the metagame with little effort.
Apart from this being interpretable in many ways, I don't see how gengar can't be limited when it can be easily revenge killed, and sometimes even walled. If sub gengar really becomes much used, the tier would just adapt with more ww snorlax.

"gengar used substitute! snorlax used crunch! gengar used disable! snorlax can not attack!"
gengar sets up a second sub then spams s bomb. also wow/ps bulky gar, sub/fp gar, and orb boom. lax is a counter to some gars but not all. nothing counters all gengars. that's why it's banned.
There are a lot of pokemon that have different movesets that can't be countered by a single pokemon. So, that doesn't mean much

252 SpA Choice Specs Gengar Sludge Bomb vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Snorlax: 78-93 (29.2 - 34.8%) -- 99.9% chance to 4HKO after Leftovers recovery
0 Atk Snorlax Crunch vs. 0 HP / 0 Def Gengar: 100-118 (74.6 - 88%) -- guaranteed 2HKO
Gengar totally viable IMO. Would limit snorlax, especially body slam spam (which is probably the most cancerous thing about snorlax) but still would be possible to counter. I think we should try it

It's kinda similar to why we don't have an accuracy clause either, sand attack can make a match more rng based however you can simply rid the effects by switching out, same goes for confusion.
What I meant was: if we're not coming to a conclusion, why don't we just make a clause and make everyone happy?
Like "confusion inducing moves can't be used more than once every x turns".
Who would disagree? And why would he/she?

In my quite inexperienced point of view, I don't see why snorlax should be banned. Because there's no perfect counter for all possible movesets? But that would be true for other pokemon too and I don't even see it as a problem. Because team building is too much influenced by his presence in ou? Then chansey should have been banned a loooong time ago. It's a really good pokemon but not that op and I think it makes the tier healthier then it was before

Why unban everything at once when some pokemon are obviosly op? Why not just try to unban some pokemon like snorlax and see what happens? I think it would be definitely less problematic than having to breed a whole new set of pokemon, play a really unbalanced tier for at least some months, getting the pokemon you bred banned, and reaching almost the same result, while many of those who played uu/nu have already left the game
