    I agree with the fact that ALL Hidden abilities should be available, and I also agree that there should be some kind of pill, but I also think it should take a ton of work to get the pill, something that takes about the same amount of time it would take to rebreed the pokemon you want (note that I said nothing of the price of the method)
     
    I however STRONGLY DISAGREE with your statement that "This is a pvp game not a pve" as I am almost exclusively PvE, and I still spend time breeding perfect pokemon.
    I hate the idea of tiers in PvP. If both people consent to it in a battle, then cool, go for it, but I have ALWAYS been of the belief that you should be allowed to use ANY pokemon you want, at ANY time you want, for ANY thing you want, and not be limited by rules set in place by others. I mean what is the point of having your favorite pokemon if you can't use it for anything? Personally, I stick to mostly PvE and open battles, because in my opinion, that's more fair that limiting what people are allowed to use, just because other people don't like that you took the time to train a super strong pokemon and they didn't. Again though, that's just my opinion.

    Yes, I was talking about speedrunning in PokeMMO. I Checked a few of them and saw them mostly using 1-4 Overleveled Pokemon in party (With a box Legendary to sweep Elite 4 in some) and constant spam of  healing items like Full Restore. These tactics won't work here.
    Those are Specific cases (not a part of mechanic or game) which have been addressed by Desu in his post. Most of the old players should have completed all that by now and its not an issue with new players.
    This can be many things but it should't make it "monotonous" or "boring" for any player.
    If for some reason the player has no Pokemon in PC other than his party and has no money at all, then he can be stuck but only if he decides to stay on his own and not to ask for help from anyone.(there are other things that can help the player get out of it but it depends from case to case)

    I have mentioned it many times in this thread already that its not just the level caps alone but the NPCs too.
    In your case, your team wasn't good enough to beat Winona.
    A better team with a better a better planning could have done it way easily without the need of unnecessary grinding.
    This thing here talks about players who lost their access to the teams they were training (which has been addressed). Not applicable on you.
    If a player has the vanilla games in mind when he starts playing PokeMMO, it can be difficult to adjust for some players not familiar with the general mechanics of Pokemon.
    Treat it more like a MMO in BETA.

    Its your choice, not a necessity.
    Maybe I wasn't clear the last time.
    I was talking about a specific case which was unintended ,which you were trying to refer as boring. Its different from your case here.
      Getting stuck and team switching depends on you. If you plan it well , you can do it easily without the need of switching teams regularly and fairly low need of grinding.
    You can check the guides in the Guide Tavern, they can help with this.

    There are a few ppl who record their experiences in PokeMMO. Who knows, maybe one of them will catch on this complaining and record normal playthrough without buying from GTL or other weird stuff you claim is necessity. 
    You can complete story without buying single Pokemon and with little to none xp grinding(you need to jump few lvs at the end just because E4 are(were?) real deal).
     
    You are fighting with "best" of Pokemon world and complain you can't sweep them with just one Pokemon? Come on. Is there any game which gives you lots of different options but allows you to smash one button to victory? Because that's what ppl do without lvl cap.

    Maybe I could. It would really be appreciated indeed. Well I doubt it will prove anything since you are so sure you can't beat it normally you probably won't belive and start claiming I'm picking OP mons, this is the only team able to beat region or other weird accusation.
    But this doesn't matter, the biggest problem is me spending several hours to prove a point to someone on forum. I don't care that much. I'm trying to tell you, you don't need to waste cash on GTL to get through the story. If you know better then go ahead and feel offended by the game which does not let you skip itself.
    As it was pointed several times on this page, this is PokeMMO, not emulator. Handhelds were designed for kids and even kid can beat four elite trainers of the region. Here, they make decision to make it more difficult so ppl will start planing and thinking instead of muscling they way through.

    It's still playable - it just sucks how we can't play with our own style. The levelcap stops you from levelling one Pokémon, refighting trainers for money for pokéballs is a lot harder ESPECIALLY if you've not built your team in the 'right way', you can't have several starters unless you get them to level 25 first... there are more things, but I can't think of them all.

    Again, thats your own personal opinion - many DON'T like the changes, which is why I'm presenting the concept of a more casual / legacy mode. I've played it too, since 2012-09-05, and I personally enjoyed it alongside friends and others I met on the way.

    What I'm asking for is a more casual alternate mode, not for the entire game to be rolled back.
    Also, while this isn't needed I feel it'd be a good feature. Like I said a lot of people I know personally have stopped playing because the game went from multiplayer Pokémon to competitive only multiplayer Pokémon.
    Instead of forcing all the casual stuff out the door, why not just allow the people who don't want to play seriously but still want to play as an MMO/with friends to have the original playstyle? It's not like it would unbalance the entire game, with the GTL limits etc

    I really like the pill idea. And being able to gather parts for it through dungeon content. Weve all invested so much time into making comps, and its kinda insane to think most of us want to put that time in again. And if youre worried about the "op" abilities just dont release the pills. But even that doesnt make any sense. If a player puts in the time to make a HA blazekin for PvE then let them have it. They would still have to put in the time and money to breed it up, so its not like a brand new player can hop into a dungeon, grind for pill parts, and get them self an OP mon right off the bat.

    Or just ban Speed Boost on Blaziken? At least for OU so if/when a list of ubers is made we could use it there.
    @Senile I'd like to use some of these HAs for PvE and I'm sure others would too. Would be nice to use them outside of competitive.

    just wondering, will this mod be updated to be compatible/work with the new Gen 5 update? (as in, will this ever be updated to add gen 4/5 pokemon icons?)
    I ask because this is one of my favorite mods, and I REALLY wanna use it again when the game gets updated Q~Q

    LibGDX engine PokeMMO's minimum specifications have been increased, from an OpenGL 1.4+ GPU to an OpenGL 2.0+ GPU. This breaks compatibility with very old chipsets, such as G31/G33, and primarily affects Intel Integrated Graphics/S3 Graphics. Users of these very old chipsets will need to use compatibility mode to play the game on Windows, or may play using a driconf tweak on Linux.
