I understand, but the base power of Knock Off is increased in gen 6 to 65, Leech Life got it's base power increased in gen 7, especially when some pokemon could use it as a good stab move and utility.

If Leech Life got a Buff why Knock Off didn't?

Unova will be the next big update, i'm guessing it's because it'll add more content to the game, Unova supports pokemon, abilities, moves and items from Sinnoh but Sinnoh doesn't do the same thing for Unova, makes sense to do it this way since it'll be easier to implement sinnoh later on but the other way around wouldn't be as easy.
