  1. Mega Blastoise's body was very small, so I enlarged it: Mega Charizard X, shaded wings edition: We should probably start sciencing this together with the other one.
  2. Well I did more stuff with the other Latias sprite. Honestly I prefer this one to the other just because of its more dynamic pose. We have enough kneeling moemon already. Also finished this glorified recolour of a Mega Charizard sprite. The wings look a little flat right now but I have no idea how to fix that.
  3. I initially only intended to mess around with Shiftry's colours, but then I got carried away: Does the sash work? I kept going over it again and again and it still doesn't look right to me. Also Kingler:
  4. @Leafjewel Maybe I'm too used to the sprite I have and find the change odd, it's happened before. But anyway, I tried to work on Kingler's hair: ...Emphasis on try. The backsprite's hair is so spiky and bushy I gave up after looking at it for 15 minutes trying to figure out where to start.
  5. @Septentrion Depends on whether we go with building off the normal forms or create new sprites from scratch. The former is easier, but could get difficult with certain megas (Mega Aerodactyl and colour limitations come to mind). @Leafjewel My only issue with Kingler is that the hair looks very flat without a third colour for highlights. Maybe we could mess around with the palette and incorporate one of the armour colours into the hair? Also am I the only one that thinks that our Carvanha/Sharpedo sprites are a bit too brightly coloured to work with dark skin?
  6. I'm fairly sure your version is older. It lacks the lowered sleeve on the front sprite that I remember working on before in the previous thread. Though I just realised my version got the colour of Latias' horn-ear thing wrong. @Leafjewel Looks much better on that side, I adjusted the thumb and built up the sleeves: Also a thing to see whether megas could be based off the normal form's sprite. Need to fix the lapel and wings though.
  7. Holy carp its good to see this back up and running. Always meant to come back but life got in the way and well...the project died and all. I did a few things by myself though.   8. Long haired Kingdra...Queendra? I dunno. If someone who actually knows how to sprite hair can fix my crappy attempt, that'd be great. ...Looking at it now I buggered up a few other things as well, like the fan lines and dress bubbles.
  9. More Metagross stuff. Thickened that arm and tried to create a happy medium between the old and current chest. If people like the bustier version better, we can go with that. Other than that just some changes to things that irked me like the skirt-belt connection and the stocking lines.
  10. I think I'm at the end of my rope with this whole sleeve business. @laGashetaHardcore Messed around with Metagross' lower half.
  11. @GetRekdm8 Dang and I thought I was being smart by having the sleeve fall to her elbow because the arm was in an upright position. @laGashetaHardcore The vine ponytail looks like its in the foreground and cutting into her side underneath her arm. I'd help but much like ZiggyZag I suck at arms.
  12. Regretting not checking the thread before, would've saved a lot of time not having to remove all the jpg artifacts myself. Anyway I did a few edits to Latias, mostly just some more shading: The backsprite sleeve is bugging me a lot, will probably go over it again. EDIT: Just noticed I put the dark red on the wrong side when trying to smooth out the wings, not sure what I was thinking there. Tried fixing that sleeve:
  13. @laGashetaHardcore I put Carvahna on a diet, not sure whether to remove the bust or not. Also tried shading Sharpedo's stockings (but didn't wuss out this time :D) and intensified the blues because when compared to Carvahna she looked incredibly dull.
  14. @Maelstrom The bulky gauntlets + greaves I really like, makes it much more "Metagross-y" when compared to the sprite we have. A bunch of minor changes to Sharpedo, can't remember what I did exactly because Sun has taken over my life: Golisopod rocks.
  15. @Moetal Well its a definite improvement to the face shape at least.
  16. @CrookedWings427 How's this? The new head's a little spherical and the face is off (probably because I'm used to looking at the old one so much) but everything I try ends up making her look like this guy: Fixed the blocky hair and removed the black cuffline as I messed up while sciencing everything together before. Tried shading the stockings too but that went nowhere fast aside from near the shorts.
  17. Some science, feel free to pick and choose what bits are better. Added the eyepatch band to the backsprite Re-added the background cuff on the front sprite because she looks like she's missing an arm to me without it. I used the old face because I'm lazy, adjusted the eye shape to give the same effect as the eyebrows without squashing the face. Darkened the remaining red so that it doesn't miss the other one as much. De-intensified and darkened the darkest blue to blend better with the hair as an outline and bring out the lines on the clothes more. Adjusted the shoulders of the backsprite, pulled the background arm a pixel to the left. Did my own messing around with the hip thingies.
  18. Now that I look at it I see it too. I'll try and squash the front sprite's hat a bit. EDIT: Hat status: Squashed. DOUBLE EDIT: Adjusted the hat shape.
  19. @laGashetaHardcore Glad to hear it. Sharpedo's one of my favourite Pokemon so it's natural I'd want to work on the Moemon version. Also admiral's peaked cap. Yay or nay?
  20. @ZiggyZag Nice. New backsprite mouth is great and I agree that the old eyes fit Sharpedo more. EDIT: Darkened the blues a bit to fit more with Sharpedo's actual colours, looking back I over-lightened them last time. lightened and intensified both purples to make the hair more vibrant without messing with the stockings too much. Also lengthened the backsprite fin and changed a few pixels in the hair to try and make things look a bit smoother.
  21. Science? Backsprite blush refuses to sit well with me. Gave her a Solid Eye for funsies.
  22. @CrookedWings427 I'd have to agree, I just wanted to test out GetRekdm8's suggestion.
  23. @GetRekdm8 Had to remove the darker purple and adjust the colours of the hair to fit better with the larger dark blue shadows, but here's fanged Sharpedo: Would have preferred keeping the original hair but it was either that or removing one of the greys, which messes with the hat brim and the shading on the belt and rank stripes. Curse you 16 colour limit. (Looking back the frontsprite's mouth is a little sloppy but was the best way I could think of for making an open mouth in six pixels without looking like she's smiling) EDIT: Tried to fix it, I think I made it worse though. @laGashetaHardcore :3
