Firstly, The increased difficulty in NPC sets is not to target the "competitive player base" but it is there to make the story progressions a challenge for both casuals or competitive players alike. The difficulty makes it less monotonous than the vanilla games where you could just clear up the game with 1 over leveled Pokemon in party. For those who are having trouble with them should follow the tips that Eggplant mentioned in the post just above. Secondly, I would like to tell you that the NPC AI is not finished yet and still being worked on. Requesting a new mode would mean a new AI for the and new sets(Pokemon/moves/abilities/nerfed stats) for all the NPCs in all 3 region, which to be honest are quite a lot. Not to mention that this is a MMO, giving different difficultly options won't be fair for those who don't choose it. P.S. A lot of trainers in in Pokemon world tournament and Cynthia in sinnoh uses Pokemon with eggmoves.

My bad, I forgot to edit it I couldn't find any actual usage list for doubles so I went with this Rhyperior in Dubs. UU was planned way before it so I didn't change it. I'll try to change it

I can't go into details about how prizing system works here but I can tell you that I didn't choose it based on usage or its tier but from what I thought was a good shiny from from the options that were available in pool.

Apologies for that but the update was pushed further away because of the recent server issues. The dev team has stated it a few times in the forums already that there have been a big growth in player base and the server issues has pushed the update even further. If you check the tournaments from past few weeks and compare it with past few months, you'll find that there is an increase in the number of tournaments being hosted (tournaments for this week are not in the ingame tournament list yet) and we're planning to increase the amount even more.
