This isn't so much a "This is cool and useful and should get done soon" as a "This would be sorta nifty in the far far future" but here I go anyway. I'm assuming dolls will be implemented at one point(TM), you know, the ones for secret base decorating. I thought it would be really cool if they had the same 1/8192 chance to be shiny, so that the color scheme would (obviously) be different and we might (hopefully) be able to see it sparkle while it's on the map. They should also be tradable, 'cause fuck yeah shiny doll collecting. tl;dr, give us shiny dolls

This is an idea to expand PokeMMO without drastic programming made to the client. It is based upon the daily goods that MMO private servers use to give extra incentive for players to play and adjust game economy. This may be messy as i'm still brainstorming and trying to make this as realistic as possible. Please bear with me. In all seriousness, please feel free to post your thoughts on this system. Daily Pokemon Retrieval System (DPRS) Description: A system used to obtain Pokemon via the PokeMMO website by way of daily random selection. Method: The user will log into the PokeMMO website with thier client account, enter the DPRS webpage, and simply click a button to recieve a random pokemon ranging from generation 1-3. The server will send said random pokemon to the user's client account. The user will then log into the PokeMMO client and retrieve the Pokemon in a similar manner to mystery gift or another suggested method. Purposes: expand pokemon trade obtain pokemon without additional regions make game more balanced make game more exciting for players ability to recieve 1st evolution (baby) pokemon Conflicts: users may create more than one account and abuse system Notes: retrievable pokemon cannot be legendary, 1st gen starter, fossils, eevee daily retrieval rate can be adjusted to once a day, a week, or a month all pokemon are 1st evolution due to lack of daycare (??) tradable pokemon recieved from DPRS can be trade locked to an extent in similar manner to current unique pokemon lock (to combat mass account creation??) pokemon recieved have random nature and IVs donation incentives can be established exclusively for DPRS raise rate of specific generation (??): I am especially open for discussion on these notes In terms of Pokemon creation, it is possible to create .PKM files for GBA pokemon through this program, Enciclopedia Pokemon. I'm not sure how this can be incorporated into this system, as im no programmer, but it does provide a method for making custom GBA pokemon and is a good resource.

Third suggestion I'm putting up, and this one will take little to no time to type out compared to the other two. Now recently there have been an array of people getting scammed over people renaming their Pokemon and putting "Shiny" at the front of their names. This has caused a lot of upset in the community and is something I think we can all agree should be put to an end. It can sometimes be difficult to tell whether a Pokemon is shiny or normal, with Shinies like Abra and Persian looking almost identical to their normal counterparts. So what's my solution? Just like in the games, a red star could be put in a Pokemon's summary window, to indicate it is a shiny ; Similarly, it could also be put at the start of a Shiny Pokemon's name - next to "Shiny" as a special character which could not be accessed via the normal Nickname window. Another idea would be - (Alongside this) After clicking "Trade confirm" A message box would pop up saying; "You are trading Gengar for a ★ Shiny Slowpoke, do you accept?" That way, even after both trade windows are locked, the game still notifies you with the name and star that it is a legitimate shiny. Thoughts? That's really all there is too it, it should stop most shiny scams almost instantly. ~Darkshade
