I've been grinding other games, for the whole month, and I guarantee those games saw a massive influx of players, like the current event has done. The rub is, you only have today to do it I'm fairly certain. Plus, you must download the patch for the update, then you must wait in a 5 k queue.
Having a holiday event, on ONLY the holiday, is bad business. Especially if it requires an update, that some players wont be able to attend bc of just that, and others wont bc of the queue.
