Add Nerfs, Buffs and Event Information to Changelogs

Question

The changelogs seem extremely barebones. Events are limited time, and yet the developers expect us to fumble around. Catch Events and the instance event all have proper explanations of how they work, so why not explain how the alpha battles and the pillars work? There are certain things the playerbase cannot  find out by themselves, such as when a "cycle" for tablets start, or how many tablets can one get on a cycle, etc. I, for one, would appreciate if technical details are mentioned, such as "All over the world, every [TIME] minutes, you might find mysterious tablets. Collect [NUMBER OF TABLETS NEEDED] to activate the mysterious pillars of light all over to world and find a special encounter!". The global chat in-game is filled with confused people who don't know how the event works, and I can't help but feel this is kind of the developer's fault for making it so obtuse. There is not a single NPC in-game who explains how this event works.

Likewise, what's the explanation or justification for not mentioning all the changes made in patches? Recently, alphas became immune to "Pain Split", yet this change was not mentioned in changelog. Please, make sure to add all changes, no matter how small, in the changelog. That's the purpose of it, after all. To inform players of what is different.

Now, apparently, Shaymin is in the game. It's even more of a kick for players, who know nothing about this. Please, use the changelog! Report what is new! What's the point of a changelog if you aren't going to use it to log the changes?
