Why not better pokemon? 

Imagine each streamer has one pokemon with its OT, for example pidgey, easy to capture so no problem. And people must trade the 3 pokemon of every streamer with its OT to Giovanni to get the prize.

This way you avoid cheating by telling someone else whichever the item is.

And people must have space to keep the pokemon so you don't get full of them, as there are only 6 spaces, they trade then Giovanni checks and give them back WITH THE PRIZE.
