Assist on smeargle

I saw smeargles with assist move learned, so im trying to build one for ditto catch but u cant use sketch on assist, miss every time, so how i can learn assist ?

Solved: i did it ussing wild dittos

Go to route 3 unova and find the dark grass. 

Take a liepard. And make sure it knows assist. Put the liepard and smeargle in slpt 1 and 2.  All other slots are empty. You have 2 mons in party. 

 

Visit the dark grass and keep trigfering single encounters until you got a double encounter

 

When you finally have a double, use a different move on smeargle if its faster (spore an enemy, false swipe an enemy, whatever) and then liepard choose assist. Assist will fail and smeargle will be able to sketch it right after. If your smeargle is super low level, make sure it has a sash or something, but thats why i choose r3 unova over everything....even if your smeargle is weak...it can still take multiple hits from r3 spawns (unova)
