Imagine just casually chatting with your friend in whispers, when you forget that you didn't switch back to "Whispers" after asking a question in team chat, then sending a possibly embarrassing message or one with a completely unrelated topic in team chat, and a good example of that is in the screenshot i attached below, i know it's not that big of a deal (for some people) but it can be a useful feature that might improve QoL nonetheless, and i would also suggest this be added only for team chat / global chat to prevent people abusing this for scamming.
