I believe that in the original HeartGold, the Super Rod is supposed to be acquired in Kanto Route 12. I think it would be a shame to deprive us fishers of such a key, key item (pun intended) if there are no plans of implementing that part of the storyline. I was really looking forward to the "very common" Corsola locations personally. My suggestion is to make the Super Rod obtainable through other means.

That's fair. Tbh I've also had the same with Rapid Spin Tentacruel in the past and I wouldn't be against it if these egg move issues were to be addressed. I just thought the info would be helpful to you when it comes to that specific Dusclops breed.

Haze is also part of Gengar's natural moveset. You can teach it the move with heart scales and pass it onto Duskull that way.
