Should I be concerned?

Hi all, I am sorta new to pokemmo so I am not sure about everything. However, when hanging out in Vermilion city, I often have someone come up to me and pester me with wanting to trade until I do. They show me a pokemon and I close the trade and then they disappear like they logged out or something. The don't walk away.

 

My question is there some sort of scam or game mechanic I don't know about? I don't show them any of the Pokémon I'm carrying, but I am wondering if it's some sort of information gathering or start to a scam. Anyone know what's going on?

Hi, people are either just being annoying or bored - no need to worry about this. You can use the block feature on these to avoid them trying to reach you. Alternatively, adjust your trade allowance settings so that only friends can trade you (can remove it whenever you want to trade someone else).

that always happens , everyone gets it and it's really annoying but well you can do what Seth just said or just ignore them , when u get the pop up just reject it if you don't know the owner of the request

Totally agree with Seth and Hamizos, just reject the request, or block them if they get insistent

Ok, thanks for the info, Too much time in the runescape community kinda makes me a tad paranoid haha.
