UncleTyrone Posted December 31, 2023 Share Posted December 31, 2023 (edited) Welcome, this is a preset for PokeMMO Reshade which enhances and sharpens the look of the game! If you haven't already installed Reshade in your PokeMMO, you will want to see this page on how to do so. Includes: HDR, Sharpening, & Vibrance Update: Removed text blurriness/SMAA How to install: Step 1. Navigate to your PokeMMO Reshade install directory. It should be at 'PokeMMO\jre\bin' and you should see Reshade related files such as ReShade.ini or the reshade-shaders folder. Step 2. Download PokeMMO.ini and drag it into your PokeMMO Reshade install directory. It should go alongside the other Reshade files there. Step 3. Open PokeMMO and press HOME to open the Reshade menu. Select PokeMMO.ini from the blue dropdown box and wait for it to enable. This preset only requires the standard Reshade effects and SweetFX. Step 4. Enjoy the reshade preset and have fun! I've been trying 2 which are xBRZ and HQx at both 4x res, but they make the game's chat almost unreadable unless you downscale them The problem is that downscaled from 4x might not be as performing as in 2x resolution BTW this is the beginning of a new era for MMO for sure 😄 Link to comment

There's not really any way to see more than what you can with lowered view distance unless you change your actual resolution. Changing actual resolution will get you to see even further. Most of the things like FSR 1.0 for Reshade are more or less a live upscale and then multisampled downscale of your screen. Like post processing. If you're looking to get the full use of something like FSR you're going to need a client injection like Magpie. Edited January 1 by UncleTyrone Link to comment
