Item clause - you can't give the same held item to more than one pokemon - ie leftovers can only be on one pokemon
hax item clause - you can't use certain hax items (lax incense, brightpowder, etc)
bag item clause - you can't use items from your bag during the battle

EDT (New York City) time is 6:10 as per the OP.
GMT (London) time is 10:10 as per the OP as well.

From there you should be able to figure out your time for more accuracy.

Well right now it's 2:15 EST. According to one of the sites, it says it's currently 8:15 there.

The tournament will be at 12:10 AM (midnight) your time.
