Ditto can be used as a handy EV training tool and here is how. First you put the Pokemon you want EV trained in the first slot and a Pokemon who yields 3 EVs in the stat in which you're EV training in your party. Once you have encountered a Ditto switch to the Pokemon who yields 3 EVs, let Ditto transform into that Pokemon, and then KO the Ditto with the Pokemon you're EV training. The Pokemon you're EV Training has now gained 3 easy EVs. Edited June 7, 2016 by pokecraftMC Link to comment

ReddoKun
Pokemon Roles We're at the last part now... Oh well! Roles, Everyone has roles! Even pokemon. Lead Hazard Lead Hazard Lead sets up hazards to let you have a bit of advantage and breaks down focus band and sturdy to cancel the annoying flail trick. Example: Skarmory @ Leftovers Ability: Sturdy EVs: 252 HP / 232 Def / 24 Spe Impish Nature - Spikes - Whirlwind - Roost - Metal Claw / Steel Wing In this example, After you set up spikes, You can either roost or whirlwind up your opponent and keep whirlwinding or use Metal Claw, Skarm's thrustworthy STAB move which can boost your attack by 10% too or Steel Wing which does more damage. Sacrifice Lead This lead sacrifices itself after setting up the team's power and also boosts their momentum. Example: Claydol @ Leftovers / Life Orb Ability: Levitate EVs: 100 HP / 172 Atk / 232 Def / 4 SpD Brave Nature - Light Screen - Reflect - Explosion - (Any Move) Claydol can be a great Sacrifice Lead. Also having Levitate that cancels out ground type weakness. First off, you do either Light Screen or Reflect then do the other in the next turn. After doing so, you can either switch or explosion. Sweeper Physical Sweeper A sweeper that relies on attack and speed. These sweepers are usually the backbone of the team. Example: Aerodactyl @ Life Orb Ability: Pressure EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe Jolly Nature - Roost - Dragon Claw - Fire Fang - Rock Slide In this example, I'll be using my ace. Aerodactyl has a wide movepool. With the addition in making it super fast with high atk, You're going to sweep your opponent. Dragon Claw is a goid move incase of Dragon Types since there's some people who mistake aero as Dragon. Fire Fang are anti Ice Types. Rock Slide is Aerodactyl's thrustworthy STAB move. Special Sweepers A sweeper that relies on sp. Atk and speed. So called Key to Victory. Example: Espeon @ Leftovers Ability: Synchronize EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe Timid Nature IVs: 1 Atk / 30 Def / 30 SpA / 30 SpD / 30 Spe - Calm Mind - Psych Up / Morning Sun - Psychic - Hidden Power [Fighting] Ill be placing my darling here. Calm Mind to boost your Sp. Atk anx either Psych Up to copy your opponents Stat boost like Agility for example or Morning Sun to heal and Psychic is Esp's trustworthy STAB and HP Fighting incase of Dark Types. Revenge Killers When your team is about to loose you can always bring out your Revenge Killer. They are deadly avengers with the highest atk and spd stat and perfect for mid-game. Example: Sceptile @ Leftovers Ability: Overgrow EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe Timid Nature IVs: 1 Atk / 30 SpA / 30 SpD - Hidden Power [Ground] - Synthesis - Giga Drain - Leech Seed In here, I'll use Minun's legendary Spectile. HP Ground is for Anti-Fire types that will stop your sweep. Synthesis to heal, Leech seed for life sap, Giga Drain for life sap. Mixed Sweepers These sweepers are used to troll your enemy after using calm mind and other to boost their sp.def then attacks them with a physical attack. Example: Blaziken @ Salac Berry Ability: Blaze EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpA / 252 Spe Hasty Nature - Earthquake - Thunder Punch - Flamethrower - Hidden Power [Ice] I'll be using my main pokemon. Earthquake for anti-Rock, Fire and other types that are oughtta stop your sweep. Thunder Punch for anti-Flying. Flamethrower is Blaze's Thrustworthy STAB. HP Ice for anti-Ground, Flying and more. Wall These trolls are a huge troll. They can stop the enemy's sweep. Example: Snorlax @ Leftovers Ability: Immunity EVs: 4 Atk / 252 Def / 252 SpD Impish Nature - Body Slam - Pursuit / Defense Curl / Curse / Belly Drum - Rest - Sleep Talk I'm kinda glad they added Snor to OU but kinda not as well. I present you, Snorlax. Body Slam is Snor's almighty STAB with a chance of paralyze. Pursuit for anti Ghost or Defense Curl for more defense or Curse to tank your enemy. Rest and Sleeptalk is Snor's signature combo. Tank Physical Tank These tanks does physical damage while being able to recieve a nice amount of moves. Example: Snorlax @ Leftovers Ability: Immunity EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Def / 4 SpD Impish Nature - Pursuit / Defense Curl / Curse / Belly Drum - Rest - Sleep Talk Yes, I know I used Snor for Wall but Snor can be a good tank too. Body Slam is Snor's almighty STAB with a chance of paralyze. Pursuit for anti Ghost or Defense Curl for more defense or Curse to tank your enemy. Rest and Sleeptalk is Snor's signature combo. Special Tank These Tanks deal special damage while being able to recieve a nice amount of damage. Example: Gardevoir @ Leftovers Ability: Synchronize EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD Modest Nature - Calm Mind - Psychic - Rest - Sleep Talk Yes. I used Gardevoir as Tank. Calm Mind to boost your Sp. Def, Psychic the STAB, rest and sleep talk the combo. Wall Breaker These are Types of Tanks that specializes in breaking walls. Example: Blaziken @ Life Orb Abillity: Blaze Naughty Nature EVs: 130 Atk / 244 SpA / 136 SpD - Sky Uppercut / Superpower - Brave Bird / Thunderpunch / - Earthquake - Fire Blast / Overheat - Hidden Power [Grass/Ice] I'm not too good in Wall Breakers so I'll leave this link here ;3 Support Baton Passers Baton Pass is banned. Healers Healers are angels of the team, They heal the team members. Example: Jolteon @ Salac Berry Ability: Volt Absorb EVs: 248 HP / 8 SpA / 252 Spe Timid Nature - Wish - Heal Bell - Protect - Thunderbolt Haha! Healer Jolt! Wish for heal move, Heal Bell to cure ailments, Protect if you're waiting for wish and Thunderbolt the STAB! Stallers Stallers stall the enemy incase if the enemy only has one wall left that only knows toxic or making the opponent waste PP. Or for something in preperation like future sight. Example: Steelix @ Leftovers Ability: Sturdy EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 Def Impish Nature - Taunt - Rest - Sleep Talk - Earthquake / Rock Slide Taunt so your enemy can't boost their stats or making them use struggle. Rest and Sleeptalk to heal, Earthquake is a good move. Beware of Flying Types tough or Rock Slide (If steelix can learn it). Statuser These are annoying thugs that statuses every single pokemon it does while it protects itself. Watch him die of toxic. Example: Sableye @ Leftovers Ability: Keen Eye EVs: 248 HP / 200 Def / 60 SpD Bold Nature - Calm Mind - Recover - Toxic - Substitute Here's one of Minun's favorite pokemon. Calm Mind to boost Sp. Def and troll your enemy. Recover for heal. Toxic for damage and Substitute for protecting. Sableye has no weakness but beware of steel types. Statser These pokemons lowers their enemy's stat so they can easily be killed. Example: Cloyster @ Leftovers Ability: Shell Armor EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpA Bold Nature IVs: 0 Atk - Screech - Leer - Spikes - Ice Beam Last but not least! Cloyster. Screech for Sp. Def. Leer for Def. Spikes for hazard and Ice beam for STAB. Edited June 7, 2016 by ReddoKun Link to comment

Gruul
As Noad has stated, it would be cool if you actually took movesets with moves and items which exist in this game. Toxic Spikes and Stealth Rock are by far not the only ones which are not in this game. I understand that these movesets show what roles there are and what moves are needed but some guys may be confused when they try to build such pokes for their comp teams and see that their desired items/moves are not available (and hell, there are enough people who ask about gen4+moves every day :D). I welcome every guide with good intentions though as is yours :) Link to comment

GBush
Here is a list of things not available there you mentioned. Roost,Fire Fang, and brave bird is not implemented in this game. I can suggest adding HP fire to sceptiles move set. I would also remove synthesis and replace that with substitute. It has mediocre stats so doesn't need the instant heal. Plus in the comp section of examples. Everything has the rest + talk combo. Besides the one with taunt it makes it easy to set up on you. For walls I suggest running toxic on. And another option would be thunder wave. Screech lowers defense greatly -2 not special defence. I think a more standard cloyster set would be 252hp/252def HP elec / Surf Surf / Ice beam Spikes Rapid Spin / Toxic ReddoKun 1 Link to comment
