just pack one revive or a second typhlosion. But either way, you can place a scarf on the lvl 100 torkoal, and it can still outspeed some of the lvl 80 sturdies, as a good bunch are slow aswell.
Then I should invest 252 speed EVs on Torkaol then?
-
How do you deal with sturdy? If the sturdy pokemon hits Typhlosion it pretty much makes his Eruption worthless because it's so frail. Torkoal can't kill it fast enough because of its abysmal speed.

Did someone say Hoenn runs?!
No?
Well here it is anyways:
Average run of Hoenn (No surf or caves)
~102k per run
Did not time myself properly this time. But according to my screenshot properties it took me 2 hours to finish. Let's just subtract 30mins or so since I was making the routes as I go through Hoenn. So 1 hour and 30 mins.
Follow blue for an encounter-free run. Follow both red and blue for a full run.
There are two ways to reach the trainer in route 120 and 121. The long way but no encounters and the short way with encounters.
Areas not included:
Spoiler105 - I hate surfing.
108 - I hate surfing.
Abandoned Ship - I hate surfing.
Meteor Falls - I hate caves.
Mt.Pyre - I was planning to add this since you only had to surf a little but I encountered 5 Tentacools in a row so I dropped it.
123 - Same as above.
125 - I hate surfing.
127 - I hate surfing.
128 - I hate surfing.
126 - I hate surfing.Forgot to mention, orange circles are trainers that gives less than 1k. It also applies to the Unova maps I previously made.
Will make Kanto an Sevii islands next.

I believe the cooldown is there because they don't want people abusing it to farm money.
You get 10k for beating one of the elite 4 and once you reach the end you can log out and start all over just to get more money.
Of course I could be wrong since I never actually lost to the E4 at all and in that case then they should remove the cooldown for first timers.
Also the cap is just right.
And you can still train your pokemons, EV train them that is. Unfortunately you started in Kanto and all the good spots are in Unova. You can skip the E4 for now and go to Unova (which also lets you access the breeding house fairly quickly).
-
If you have garbage to sell then sell it. But if you want to make a decent profit out of it? Too bad.
You accidentally bought the wrong brace for breeding? Then keep it for later.
Bought too many Flamethrower TMs? Save them in case a pokemon you want needs that move.
Bought 40 Bubble Beam TMs on accident? Well then, now you're just an idiot.
And you say you have shit to sell? Then that must mean you got them for free, either from the story line or somewhere else other than the market. Even if you sell them, like the TM Earthquake, for 10k you're still making 10k since you got it for free.
-
Except no one is really monopolizing the market since anyone with money can do it. Don't have the money? Well too bad for you.
And while getting that much money for zero effort might be a problem it doesn't hurt the economy.

Hmm, I do agree that the 25k tax is too low but even if they do increase it then it's not going to change anything. You say that 'it opens it up to other players to match ur price' but what's stopping them from doing it now?
Here's an example, I'm trying to sell 100 Earthquake TMs. The tax is 25k an the TMs itself costs 30k. That's 3.025m investment so I would need to sell the TMs for 30.25k to break even. If I wanted to make a profit I would sell it for 30.5k.
Now let's say they change the price so that the tax is based on how much you're selling the items for. Let's also say that 3m is a 10% tax, that's 300k tax which is much higher than that 25k and a total of 3.3m investment. To break even I would need to sell the TMs for 33k. Now 33k for that TM does tend to be expensive and most players will most likely hesitate to buy it. So to sell the TMs at a reasonable time frame I would sell the TMs for 33.1k for a profit.
How exactly does raising the tax let other players match my price when you need a higher investment and making everyone else lose profit from a lower tax?
-
Oh hey, I'm one of those people selling a stack of TMs.
I'm sorry but your suggestion isn't really going to change anything. If they raise the tax then I'm just going to raise my prices or if they remove the tax altogether (really unlikely) then that just means I'm going to make less money since everyone will be doing it or more money because no tax. Either way it won't stop people like me.

I was planning on using a similar team using Ninjask, Vaporeon, Togekiss, Gliscor and Espeon.
I want to use Reflect and Light Screen on Togekiss for more damage reduction and try to get more Nasty Plot boosts behind it. Ninjask is a guaranteed +2 speed boost and with enough EVs on speed for Vaporeon all of them can outspeed a 252EV, 31IV, Timid Jolteon which is pretty much the fastest thing the E4 has; +4 speed is needed if Jolteon is using a Choice Scarf which is done by using Agility on Gliscor since it can pretty much take anything Jolteon throws at it (except HP ice if it runs it).
Also I noticed your Espeon isn't using Stored Power. Why not? With enough boosts it can pretty much OHKO anything.
Unfortunately this is still in the building stage since I still need to breed those pokemons so they have 4x31 at least.
If you have the Pokemons and want to try it here's the text stuff to import on Pokemon Showdown:
SpoilerNinjask @ Leftovers

Impish Nature

Togekiss @ Light Clay
Ability: Serene Grace

- Nasty Plot
Vaporeon @ Leftovers
Ability: Water Absorb
EVs: 244 HP / 136 Def / 128 Spe
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 0 SpA
- Baton Pass
- Substitute
- Acid Armor
- Aqua Ring
Gliscor @ Leftovers
Ability: Sand Veil
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Calm Nature
IVs: 0 Atk / 0 SpA
- Baton Pass
- Substitute
- Protect
- Agility
Espeon @ Leftovers
Ability: Synchronize
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Baton Pass
- Calm Mind
- Stored Power
- Hidden Power [Fighting]

@Shuck Can you post the IVs for your team? I'm interested in trying it out. And have you thought about doing it with a full Baton Pass team or would that not work?
-
Give me 24 hours to fix it up but I probably won't time myself anymore however. Six hours straight is just too much for me, it should be counted as an average time.
I'm going to add two routes, a 'full' run and just a run where you battle trainers without having to walk on grass or surfing, for people that want to avoid random battles.
EDIT
And here you go:
Follow blue if you don't want to encounter any wild pokemons. Follow both red and blue for a full run.
If you want to pretty it up some more then be my guest.

Here's the map for Unova.
I left out caves and places where you need to surf far (Route18).
Also left out trainers that gives less than $800.
It took me 6 hours and 30 minutes from start to finish and made ~422k. Could have probably finished quicker if I used a level 100 pokemon so it skips the EXP gained message. Also multi-hit attacks to bypass sturdy. I leveled a level 75 pokemon to 100 halfway through so if you don't have an AoE move then this might be a good idea for exp.
I'll fix up the images later on. Like putting actual routes to take instead of just the locations of the trainers. Also I used BW2 maps since I couldn't find some BW maps. It should be roughly the same.

That I found this game when I couldn't play a certain game that will not be mentioned because it's considered advertising.
Loving the game so far compared to it. I can see myself playing it for a long time.
