  1. I just realized, I don't like any of the starters for Gen 5. Well, guess I have to run a full team of galvantula for the story now :l
  2. Well, we did get Johto starters in the safari zone in hoenn, so could be possible to get Sinnoh Starters.
  3. That I wouldn't mind either. As long as it wouldn't trigger if a Machop held it in the wild.
  4. So throw it into say the battle frontier, or at a vendor for say 10k a piece.
  5. I hope never, PokeMMO should be played on PC only! I won't actually mind it, but whatever happened to gaming on PC for games like this?

    Portable PC

So first a few things wrong with this suggestion. 1st, the cost for 10k per use? No thanks, any cash per use? Nope. Its like if I bought a PC in full, but I'm being charged every time I use it, if I own it already, it shouldn't cost a thing. 2nd Having to complete each region? Sorry this isn't really a requirement since most people (if not everyone) already completed 2/3 regions, which completing a region isn't that difficult. 3rd, as someone mentioned before, makes ocarinas useless. Now how we can improve it. 1 - Say we "rent" this portable PC from say Bill lets say 100k a month, you can use it as much as you like. However the PC will no longer have a healing function just like in Generation 1. This way you can't restore the PP of moves. Keep in mind you must have the 100k on hand to obtain the PC, if you fail to pay when Bill asks for money you simply lose access to the feature. Then the PC in the Pokemon Center will have its healing function. 2 - The Portable PC can't bring pokemon out that have HM Moves saying that HMs are too advanced for the system.
  7. I can't wait for Galvantula if I can get a shiny Galvantula I'll be content.
  8. The first paragraph is pretty much false, otherwise the custom rom hacks or fan-based games could not be shut down which they can get shut down. What it really leads down into is where the servers/owner is hosted (in the case of PokeMMO). Some countries do not follow the copyright laws from the U.S. or even Japan and will ignore any C&Ds. At any point Gamefreak/Nintendo can come in and shut the game down if they so desired if the owner/servers are hosted in a region where they can be shut down or do follow copyright laws it is another story entirely. Also the game utilizes Gamefreak/Nintendo's intellectual properties where Nintendo and Gamefreak can legally take action to protect their IPs otherwise their IPs can fall into Public Domain if they fail to protect it. There is also a difference with PokeMMO and "Fair Use" which only allows you to criticize, comment upon, or parody. Where none of the 3 things listed is involved with PokeMMO.

    New content?

There has been news that Generation 5 is being worked on.

    PoW/PoM?

I don't think any MMO needs this personally.

    Pokemon as a Pet

Its more of the fact, if you didn't have skip obtaining a pokemon through cheating/glitches, problems do happen. Frankly this suggestion doesn't add any value to the game, unless there is an actual benefit. Which I see none.

    Pokemon as a Pet

Again, its a shit suggestion, no one is going to be ok with that.

    Pokemon as a Pet

You didn't even make it better, what you did was make it worse.

    Pokemon as a Pet

That wasn't what you were suggesting, it is still a crap suggestion that shouldn't be implemented.

    Pokemon as a Pet

Uhhh no, I hardly doubt anyways wants to have to physically take care of possibly hundreds of comps and if they don't be forced to lose them. Again fundamentally this is a shit suggestion.

    New stuff

And instead of wanting to be spoon fed information, you should learn to be independent and just look at the change logs yourself. Instead you choose to be disrespectful to others. Honestly the staff should just lock this thread already.

    Pokemon as a Pet

No it wouldn't, fundamentally the game can't do it as the player must always have at least 1 pokemon in their party. Then you have players who have been gone for a long time and it would be a huge "fuck you" to those players.

    Pokemon as a Pet

    Yeah that definitely won't happen.

    New stuff

Perhaps you shouldn't use bullshit in your thread to make a non existent point. You can literally browse the last few change logs to get an idea of what is new. But hey, guess you're too lazy and want everything spoon fed to you.

Just look at the change logs.
  22. I respect your post first of all. Second, my opinion is based as a "new" player's perspective (In terms of Little Cup) where every team I ran across was running Eviolite on about 4-5 of their mons. Or ran across them a lot more than other items being used. I will admit, I did forget about Life Orb though (which of course is based on Smogon). Hence I see it over centralizing team building. (Which new player's insight to a tier can be valuable) As for leftovers, I see a lot more items being used than leftovers in other places (PokeMMO/Smogon wise), Choice Bands, Scarfs, Specs, Life Orb, Assault Vest, Leftovers, Black Sludge, Figy Berry, Salac Berry, Custap Berry, (Other berries that halve super effective hits like Yache Berry for Dragonite), Weakness Policy, Kings Rock, Normal Gem, Flying Gem, Expert Belt, Air Balloon, Shed Hull (I think its called mostly to let stuff like Ferrothorn/Skarmory swap out against Magnezone), Toxic Orb, Flame Orb. Of course as of right now, We don't have as many items as gen 5 but with Gen 5 on the horizon I thought it would be safe to assume to include those items as well which is a lot more than what Little Cup has to offer in terms of a comparison. But a lot of it is a wait and see type of thing.

If I recall, Kyu said hopefully in 2 months we'll get Gen 5.
  24. I know its for a different time but since you are interested in my reasoning, but from my experience playing little cup on smogon, everyone either runs Eviolite or Berry Juice and maybe Choice Scarf and maybe focus sash (For abras mostly), nothing else, this in my humble opinion, over centralizes team building. Only 54 mons can actually use Knock Off (Including Gen 7) which may be a lot, but only 22 of them are actually viable/obtainable. (Some are a bit iffy which are the pansear/sage/pour) Which on the off chance they are not optimal for Knock Off then really only 19, then how many of these 19 will actually be available? 16 At least (Also not counting the pansear/sage/pour mons otherwise 19 and didn't count the Gen 4 pokemon as I don't know which will be available).
  25. I doubt the tier council is even going to place a restriction on items unless they are forced to, (Such as say a lot of not fully evolved mons using Eviolite that are walls (Looking at Chansey/Lickitung(not so much)/Dusclops) Even if Knock Off is run all the time, which if every team is using eviolite on all their mons, odds are they won't be using Knock Off but who knows. (Though if Little Cup is an official tier, I'd hope they would ban eviolite but that is just me)
