I can understand why people are frustrated, but this wasn't our queue to bear our fangs and show just how toxic of a community we can be, people need to sit their asses down with all this "fight the power" stuff, we aren't dealing with the Axis here it's just a handful of nerds that came from another MMO that decided to make a Pokemon MMO. All i'm saying is this was our oppurtunity to take the high road and communicate our demands, not dissuade upper staff from ever being open with us again with these overly hostile responses.

I'm glad upper staff are being more open about things now, but with all the salt and hostility in this thread and the prizes one I doubt they will feel motivated to keep doing so in the future, might sound weird coming from me but I think there are better ways to get our thoughts across than resorting to mindless personal attacks and villainizing of staff as a whole. You guys wanted more honesty from them and here it is, the rates not being vanilla was obvious to anyone with above room temperature IQ.

A comp player who doesnt enjoy grinding wins a 2-3m shiny, hes still bound to be broke in a few days, if anything hes stimulating the economy by selling the shiny to a shiny trader, buying comps from a person who grinded them, or just buying supplies/services from people willing to sell them. Nobody is breaking the economy for winning a shiny krabby.

There's nothing wrong with wealth attained through meritocracy, sure beats attaining massive amounts of wealth in one shot through sheer luck (in my case) or through "good deals", I don't think anyone was complaining about good players getting rich off being good at the game.

Please respond staff, comp players are almost always in a state of brokeness, every change in the metagame means a lot of time/money spent to adapt.

Yeah it kinda makes sense that the rates are so low in an mmo invironment, there was no reason to lie, all threads like this get locked with a cheeky conspiracy remark and reinforcing that the rates are 1/8k though.
