I think some of the trade channels would be completely abandoned.
I mean this simple guy who's gonna be like "looking for a houndour". I'd have sold/given him one, but I'd never see that message if were too busy having only comps/shinies open.
Sometimes I'll buy things just because they're cheap. Like an EQ for 20k. And you would miss those offers if you have onnly the comps/shiny tabs open.
And really, five trade chats or so is a hassle.
You can set your tabs up to have more than one trade chat in them. So you can still have all 2-4 chats or w/e displaying.
This would probably be very difficult to moderate. I would imagine that even if there were separate sections, it would be a mess because people would simply disregard the intended restrictions/limitations. I don't see a sure-fire way to implement this and keep it as intended.
Even if ppl are posting in the wrong section doesnt mean it wont clear up the trade chat a lot. And if the community starts bitching at ppl that use the wrong tab like they do ppl who post a question thats already been posted on the forums then we can discourage this kind of thing ourselves. Sure itll still happen but idt this would be a big enough problem to discourage this kind of change in the trade chat. Btw barrage i only quoted you and not the others who pointed this out bc you were the first to point this out. Nothing personal :)
On a side note i think we need to set standards for the way the word "godly" is used and start telling ppl that their adamant staryu with 0-3 def and 15-17 spcl atk is not fucking godly haha.

Right, plus the fact you went to get food in the middle of the match. All in all, my team has not done any sort of bragging or shit posting after the tournament and have been for the most part very mature about the whole thing. We understand there was a bye on our end. You guys are the one who changed your team thread message and acted immature about it with snarky comments here and there. I don't think I need to speak for bowser, after getting his ass handed to him last night by one of our members after calling us a "community team."
The title looks like more of a joke anyways. Dont you see the big happy face at the end

Okay so for anyone that cares, i havent been on in a while and idt i plan on getting on much in the future, unless something changes with the game that make me feel more willing to play. W/O a working auto IV calc and with the way breeding is i just dont think this game is worth playing anymore. But this team was awesome, best team/guild i have ever been in any game. LYLE #1

The code that is given to us by Archalias is not the source, it is complied Java/C++/Whatever Language, therefore even if you knew where in the code it was located, you wouldn't be able to change it without the source.
Oh shit so can we not do anything w/o the source code?

Haha at least you admit it. But im still sticking to my guns. We arnt so much spoiled as we recognize how much less of a burden this game is with an auto calc. And we feel that the devs should realize this too and do something about it. I know that this isnt the place to get the devs attention but this is the place were the ppl who want this back is being attacked so i decided to comment.

I'll be generous, maybe a couple alt+tabs if you can't remember all the stats at once.
You might even be good at IV calculating and track across a couple levels, maybe repeating this process.
TL;DR - Yeah its not the most fun to do IVs by hand. But you are, in fact, born with a silver spoon in your mouth because you didn't play before we had the auto calc, simple as that. Plenty of players have filled and emptied boxes and boxes of pokemon with just veekun/psypokes/metalkid/serebii to help.
Yes all of that work over and over and over and over over and over and over and over over and over and over and over over and over and over and over again. Doing it once isnt bad but when you have to do it over and over again it becomes annoying . And i hear what you are saying "Back in my day we didnt have these fancy iv calculators. We had to do it all manually." Save it grandpa we dont care. Its like when someone from an older generation talks about life b4 mathematical calculators. We have those now and dont plan on going back. And the fact is we had the iv calcs b4 the update and we dont think it should be taken away from us bc the devs wants to change a GUI that didnt need changing in the first place. There is no reason for the devs to not consider the 3rd party calculators while updating their games considering most of their long term community uses them and wants them back. Btw didnt i see you post somewhere that you dont even play anymore? If thats true then why do you even care about all of this? Let us bitch and dont worry about it.

Go to mt emeber b3 with a strong water pokemon. You can evtrain on slugma, and when you run out of pp on surf just replace it with waterfall. When you run out of waterfall replace it with surf. The same technique can be used with any pokemon that can learn 2 hms. When i use my charzard to ev train a group of pokemon then i can use strength and fly to renew my pp. i dont use fly to kill pokes with but to replace strength so i can reteach it to him.
