    Clash of Clans

So, back to 15 man wars after we won two 25-20 man in a row. Pls, I was rekking.
  2. The council's decision is indeed messing with the tier. That is because the UU tier is not a fixed list of pokemon. If you read about usage statistics and check them, you will see that there were 3 pokemon who have dropped below the cut-off point for OU. Two of them were banned to BL because they were deemed too strong, and the other is being tested now. As OrangeManiac has pointed out, there was a thread open for Sceptile for a period of a week for people to give their input. When, after testing, Sceptile is indeed too powerful for the UU meta, a new [Discussion] thread will be made and its role will be discussed once more. For now there is nothing you can do, other than to adapt.
  3. The UU Council has decided that Medicham is too powerful for UU, so it will be banned to BL. Thanks for your feedback.
  4. The UU Council has decided that Blaziken is too strong for UU, hence it will be banned to BL. Thanks for your feedback.
  5. The UU Council has decided to test Sceptile in UU. Input on whether is too strong for the tier during the test period is welcome.

  8. Remains banned, updated the OP with detailed move bans.
  9. Got myself a shaker, some pure whey protein powder (94%), unsweetened cacao powder, bananas and almond milk. (Still need a powder scoop, where do I get that ThinkNice?) So I can finally start hitting the protein intake required to gain, cause I've been working out on a deficit. Working out on a deficit for the first two months has improved my strength, muscle tone and posture though, so I reckon it wasn't a bad start at all.

  11. As you might have noticed, Medicham has dropped in usage of OU and has now dipped below the cut-off point for OU. This means we'll be looking into whether if fits in the UU Tier or whether it will be banned to BL. The UU Council feels like Medicham is probably too strong for UU and should be quickbanned to BL. This thread exists to discuss whether the community agrees with us on this one. Important moves: Hi Jump Kick Bulk Up Recover Thunder Punch Ice Punch Fire Punch Substitute Endure Reversal Fakeout Common sets -bulk set careful max spdef @leftovers/salac bulk up recover hi jump kick thunder punch/ice punch -reversal set adamant max att/speed @salac sub / endure reversal 2 e punches of choice -choice band set jolly/adamant 252 att/speed hi jump kick 3 epunches / or 2 + fakeout Next weekend (17-18-19) the decision will be made to suspect test this pokemon in UU or quickban to BL.
  12. As you might have noticed, Blaziken has dropped in usage of OU and has now dipped below the cut-off point for OU. This means we'll be looking into whether if fits in the UU Tier or whether it will be banned to BL. The UU Council feels like Blaziken might be too strong for the UU Tier, so we'd like to quickban it to BL. This thread exists to discuss whether the community agrees with us on this one. 13. As you might have noticed, Sceptile has dropped in usage of OU and has now dipped below the cut-off point for OU. This means we'll be looking into whether if fits in the UU Tier or whether it will be banned to BL. The UU Council feels like Sceptile definitely deserves a chance in the UU Tier. This thread exists to discuss whether the community agrees with us on this one. Important moves: leech seed synthesis toxic substitute swords dance agility leaf blade giga drain dragon claw earthquake crunch pursuit thunderpunch (for mantine) swagger return quick attack common movesets: -Sdance Set: swords dance earthquake leaf blade pursuit/dragon claw/ crunch -Subseed: substitute leech seed giga drain hidden power/ toxic / synthesis -Hasty mixed attacker: giga drain/hidden power leaf blade swords dance earthquake -Choice Band: pursuit leaf blade earthquake crunch/dragon claw/ quick attack Next weekend (17-18-19) the decision will be made to suspect test this pokemon in UU or quickban to BL.
  14. Houndoom, the dark fire dawg of doom. It's very versatality and unpredictability makes it the lady gagy of the UU tier. It can subversal, it can pursuit trap, it can sunnybeam, it can be a special sweeper... so many viable options. But due to the prevalence of many bulky water types in UU, it's role seems to be more focussed on supporting in the current meta using Will-o-wisp, pursuit and destiny bond to cripple the enemy team. There is no way to deny, a well played houndoom in the right team composition can severly turn a battle into your favour. I really like the discussion so far on Houndoom and would like to see more of it, because the UU Council has yet to make up its mind on this doom dog. So, I welcome you to contribute constructive posts to this thread and help us decide where to go from here.
  15. Slowking, Slowbro's kinglier brother. With the availability of Slack Off and great defensive typing, this king can switch in on almost any physical hit and just shrug off the damage as if it's nothing. Combine that with Calm Mind to boost it's already stellar Special Defense and mediocre Special Attack, how can you take it down? Sure, it may lack the coverage because of those two moves, but man can it wall and stall. Toxic seems to be an answer in a 1v1, Encore and Taunt can also cripple it as well as a handful of counters in the form of Crawdaunt, Sharpedo, Exeggutor (if we assume it does not run signal beam). But the usage stats don't lie, it's currently one of the best (if not hands down the best) physical walls in the UU meta and can even function as special wall after one Calm Mind. Do you believe it's UU? Or would you rather see it banned to BL (OU)? The UU Council is still undecided on this pokemon and we hope to get some help from you guys to make a decision. Please post in a constructive and reasoning based manner if you feel Slowking should stay or go.
  16. Zangoose, the goose that's very fast and can hit very hard after setting up. Too bad it's paper. The subpar defensive stats combined with the requirement to set up (sword dance) are a valid weakness that must be exploited. But once the appropriate conditions are set, this white monster can really dish out the damage and is hard to stop. Looking at this thread, I see a lot of people in favor for a ban, yet the recent usage stats show a very low percentage of him. What shall we do about this one? The UU Council is still undecided and looking for some more information. If you know, please share that information so we can help build a better tier. (Make sure to stay on topic and add reasoning to your arguments)
  17. Miltank is pretty strong, but I don't think it's too strong for the UU tier. Based on the amount of discussion I've seen so far in combination with recent usage stats it seems like the community thinks the same. Although the UU Council is not completely convinced about this cow, so I'm leaving this thread open for discussion. So if you have any more thoughts, please share them in a constructive way (stay on topic).
  18. The UU Council finds that Breloom currently does not meet the criteria for being banned to BL (OU). So this means that for now, Breloom will stay in the UU tier. In the future, when the UU tier has seen some changes, this pokemon may be discussed some more. On that note I'll be locking this thread and putting it in the Competition Archive.
  19. The UU Council finds that Lapras currently does not meet the criteria for being banned to BL (OU). So this means that for now, Lapras will stay in the UU tier. 24. I don't have a gym buddy nor do I want to have one. The way I work out is to focus completely on myself, get in a meditative state during the exercices and be mentally relaxed. Completely slows down my mind, live in the moment without any stress, and that is (along with the improved aesthetics) why I work out. As Emlee stated, self-motivation to work out makes it a lot easier to not rely on a gym buddy. Having a gym buddy would ruin all that, as there'll be a lot of talking etc. Also if your gym buddy isn't on the same level as you, you'll be switching weights on every machine/bar after each set. Can't take your time to remain seated after a rough set, as now it's your buddy's turn to lift. The only time I think of having a gym buddy is when I could use a spotter for Bench Press or Shoulder Press... But after lifting on the same weekdays at the same hours, I've met with other regulars at those times and can ask them to spot for a set or two if needed.
